Thank you for the feedback, crysx.

I went ahead and updated our Linux installation process to fix the issue that you were observing. I updated our documentation, as well, to reflect this change.  Now, the same script should work for both environments - I've tested against fresh Ubuntu and RHEL VMs and it now seems to be working as intended.  Thank you for letting us know about this.

The next feature that's currently in the works is remote rebooting, which can be triggered from the dashboard.  We just released the ability to remotely change pools, and that put in place the framework for rebooting.  This will be released soon.

I've put bulk renaming towards the top of our backlog.  We're intending to do a template-based approach for this so you can rename multiple ASICs or rigs at the same time to follow a similar pattern (example: obm-s19-${counter}, or obm-s19-${ip.last}). The templating is still tbd, but we'll provide a lot of predefined variables so all of the miners can be bulk selected and renamed in 1 swoop.

Please let us know if you have any more feedback.  We love it.  Smiley

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for ...

An absolute pleasure to be testing this application out, and some great work on your (team) part. I hope we can work together in future for many things over many areas, but the for the time being, this is one really neat package you have got running and developing.

Thanks!

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Every farm is different, so why should every monitoring dashboard look the same?  With Foreman, you can configure yours to show the information that you find valuable.

Don’t check multiple sites to see if your miners are working. Unify your mining with Foreman and bring everything together on one platform. Example: here's how we've integrated MiningRigRentals:

We've updated our ASIC pool changing feature to only notify users of a completed operation after the device has been reconfigured, rebooted, and resumed mining.

We've begun testing of our new Windows agent - a wrapper service to auto-install, configure, and update our miner metrics utility that feeds statistics from your miners directly to your private Foreman dashboard.

While our Linux users are already receiving automatic updates, this will address the issue with having to perform manual updates when running on Windows.

We've officially added support for Braiins OS and Braiins OS+ firmwares.  Now, users running bOS can remotely reboot, change pools, and view full ASIC stats directly from their private Foreman dashboard.

To help identify where Foreman agents are running, the agent's hostname and IP are now displayed in Foreman.

It is always good here ...

Though a LOT of the CrypoUsers go to the respective Blogs and Discord Servers, almost everyone comes back here.

Either way, you are always up to date no matter which platform so far.

We've added total power consumption and cost to Foreman, enabling users to see an estimated draw for their farms.  ASICs and FPGAs are automatically supported.

We've also added the ability to share dashboards between users, enabling multiple farm operators to monitor and manage the same farms together.
