People who think Bitcoin is illegal means they do not have a strong sense of desire to do something better. Just leave them alone, Bitcoin is not just easy to understand, its technical and perceived to be scam by people who are no information about Bitcoin digital currency, some are even adamant to participate in investment for Bitcoin in the market...People sometime are very reserved in term of investment, be it on long term or short term investment for Bitcoin, they need to understand the market, fundamentals, market structure, most of the time people are in Patient for such information to take.

Well, just tell them Bitcoin is Legal and is acknowledged by the Governments in BIG Countries and it is operating Worldwide. Tell him that it exists for 10 years now and is proven beneficial and reliable.  If he still won't believe, then leave him and never ever talk about it to him, talk to anyone/someone who believes and wants to know more about it.
