Obviously, there's no assurance at this point that recovery will again happen in december just like last year. Downtrend is still obervable at this moment which makes it hard to make such assumptions that recovery will soon happen. Holding is good during tough time but ones can still apply some trading sense by swapping btc for USDT or DAI when it pumping time next month while swap back the USDT for btc when it dump time in December.

News I’m getting lately are quite confusing with some people saying that it will get to $30,000 plus while another says it will get to $50,000 or maybe above that, then the last one I saw claims that price will drop to $5000 first before it takes move to the top. But I’m being positive and believing that the price will recover soon and get above $20,000.

Personally I don't think that Bitcoin will pump until the end of May 2019. I expect that Bitcoin price will start to recover only after will drop under 2000$, may be even lower 1000$. IMHO we will see new ATH only in 2020.
