Positive news definitely affects the bitcoin price. For example, the recent hype regard Bitcoin ETF which got rejected cause BTC to break 7k and 8k USD barrier within a week. After the rejection the market is again seeing a correction is price. In future, if more good news start coming up then Bitcoin's price will definitely rise more.

I have been observing a trend from last year bitcoin price movements to this year movement.
I have observed how we're getting so much positive news and adoption about bitcoin this year, but still the prices refuse to go up. If this was last year a single positive news will have pumps the prices by at least 10% or more.
Its that positive news don't longer have any effect on the price movement or is their any manipulation going on.

News has still an effect to the price of bitcoin but I think the traders or investors are now mature enough to not be that affected because there are so many news going around that people do not know or unsure of it would have a positive or negative effect to the price. If you also compare the number of people during this time last year, there may be fewer since bitcoin has attracted only that much attention when it made its run last December.

Only the bigger news has an effect though like the news about ETF. I believe that it is one of the things that trigger the upward movement weeks ago because people are positive that during this time, ETF would be approved and new money will come in the market that would cause an upward movement.

Well based on speculations more or less. Negative fuds cause drops in price while positive news can start a run. With something that moves with rumors, any news would have an impact on btc's value

Yeah that's what I'm pointing. It has a positive impact but not all the time the impact has been there. I have noticed this before and I thought the market will finally go up due to those positive news that I've read but there's no positive impact and instead the market continued to decline.

Not all good news are picked up by the public, most of the times the negative news are given more highlight by the media. Negative news sells more. If you look at different news portals, theres a lot of good news out there. A single negative news ruins everyones goal. Just look at whats happening now.

I think many people have said that price changes in the market depend on many things including news, yeah if there is bad sentiment about bitcoin it will have negative consequences, if positive news comes like announcing legalization, it will certainly have a very good impact

Thats whu i am starting to believe that there is a manipulation inside the market of cryptocurrency because the price will only move when these people wanted too but if they want to continuously drop the prices ty can do it also.correct me if im wrong but this is the way im seeing things now because of the unexplainable happenings

Positive news does have an impact on prices. Even in bear markets, in my opinion.

However, the impact that positive news has on prices are probably significantly reduced in bear market scenarios simply because of the psychological nature of bearish sentiment circulating around the market. A single piece of news indicating that institutional investors may be interested in something bitcoin related simply isn't enough to spark major increases in prices in a bear market.

This can be observed right now, in this exact bear market. Prices aren't moving despite multiple news coverages that would be considered to be extremely positive within a bull market.

You can also see the opposite to be true in bull markets, negative news individually don't disrupt a bull market. Worst case scenario is that a temporary correction comes, but as the sentiment within the market is bullish, nothing major changes.
