Ethereum became popular due to its uniqueness. Smart contracts were needed for cryptography. Buterin deservedly brought the project to the top 2. And this is not because people started worrying about bitcoin and started selling and buying ethereum.

ETH is after Bitcoin the currency offering the best use-case and is actually very undervalued. I can't understand people selling ETH now for other shitcoins or Fiat.
However, the best reson for ETH being so famous is because ETH is so easy to use. This is reason number one and all other resons are a result. Because it requires a large basis of users willing to use a currency. The success recipe of ETH were platforms just like MEW and Etherscan, it's very easy to use them correctly even for beginners.

BTC is a favorite coin of crypto users. If you say it's too stressful for the price of Bitcoin. This is a very ridiculous opinion. I think almost all altcoins are dependent on Bitcoin. When the price of Bitcoin down, the altcoin price also down. This means that altcoins cannot survive with their exchange rates without Bitcoin. |

Altcoin can survive if they just starting to decrease the dependencies on bitcoin like switch over something that bitcoin is worth, in this case bitcoin to cash then altconi should have that option aswell otherwise altcoin will just join the bandwagon, following bitcoin wherever the price is going. |

I think we have to survive now and wait until next year. it's likely that next year ethereum will recover, it won't be as good as the end of 2017. but at least the market will be better than now. indeed all crypto users are currently in the same problem, not just in ethereum.
