Anyone has an estimate as to how many employees Binance has? I know that you cannot really compare a bank with a crypto exchange, but it would be interesting to contrast the numbers.

I been watched interview of CEO Binance with CNBC,  and he said the total employee of Binance around 30, and compared with others big exchange the total employee can be more than 100 people.  So that mean Binance is really professional,  they also expand to others country to open new office , and they also always comply AML and regulation. Hopefully others exchange can be the same like Binance that will expand to others country while promote crypto so demand of crypto can be also increase.

The article linked by OP probably is trying to shill FCoin using binance's popularity(although Zhao Changpeng's statement is completely unrelated to FCoin).

what does FCoin have to do with binance?

Based from their main website FCoin is a trading platform and if you are asking how the two is related, then I can say that they are only both platforms used in trading. Besides that, the two company behind it itself is not related to each other(and neither does Zhao Changpeng praised the technology behind FCoin).

I was actually expecting a through draft of the interview as well, but all I could just see was the summary of the interview which like you said, at least, a link to the interview could have been able to go a long way unless of course this is just a formulated article to drive demand for FCoin.

Moreover, some few stuffs were touched regarding binance, but the thing here, is that, this is a space that is still maturing gradually, and even at that, the things that are being achieved by the early adopters have been enormous, and a good thing for binance to have come up with a fee to drive in volume for them, making it a top notch exchange so far.

It's a dream number and so now many trading floors are created to want to achieve such high profits. But I think Binance is the best and its value always increases over time. I think we should invest in Binance before its price increases to $ 20 per coin.

I admire the humility of this man that you can see in conferences (idk if I just presume). Anyways, he has way too far ahead of larsen (well you really can go far if you're backed by big whales in the real economy) but I will have to dig deep why vitalik is not #2 instead of lubin (goes to show idk the real story).

I love it when they compare crypto exchanges with banks. Yeah, they did made more money in their short span compared to a bank but right now banks are all around the world trying to get even a small share of the market and fighting each other constantly for even a single 0.1% increase.

Moreover, crypto exchanges are not that many right now, there are 4 or 5 decent ones everyone uses and aside from those there aren't many competition going around. Lets see how binance will be in 50 years and than talk about if they can beat the Deutsche Bank or not. They will be either gone for a long time or trying to stay relevant, my money is on they will be gone long time.

Banks are not making a lot of money quarterly, but they have already made a lot of money in the past 200 years which means they are not going anywhere in the next 50 years neither.

For sure it wasnt enough to challenge the 100,000 bank employees so the manpower is not issue here instead the income.if a crypto exchange can make this huge money,earning 150 million for two quarters meaning this is 300 millions in a year,wo thats a huge money

I figured there is a certain level you will get to that you will really just end up getting humble. Most people, who tend to lift their shoulders above their head, are usually the ones that normally get to hit some small amount of money in a short period of time and want people to know their worth.

Well, that is besides the story anyway. Binance so far has been one of the exchanges that have been growing, coming up with different initiatives to stay on top of their game and I believe for this exchange, it is obvious there is a lot of great potential for it in the long run.
