Look at this from a different perspective, when the Bitcoin pushed its price to USD $8k+ the market price of different altcoins pushed into a downtrend which is very unusual, as in the past when Bitcoin and Ethereum  pushed into an uptrend or downtrend other altcoins will follow the same trend that they have which is quite unusual. This only means that the market is still saturated and its volume is only being pushed from different cryptocurrencies in the market for instance even though the price of Bitcoin and ETH is down right now many altcoins are pushing it prices up, what we need is new players and investors in the market.

And where you were when the price of bitcoin was going up very fast and making a lot of coins that did not deserve it to go up with it and to be listed on exchanges? When that happened no one was complaining, look this is just the way the market works, and to be honest I do not see anything wrong with it.

Now it is too easy to release your coin and make all kind of promises to investors about the profits that you are going to get, this bear market is really testing new altcoins and icos and that is a good thing since only those that are any good will survive, this is the survival of the fittest and if the developers want to bring success to their project it is better that they bring something more than promises.

Lol. This is a big NO. There are several successful ICOs out there and even with enough money they can not list their coin to a better exchange or worse, it is not listed on anywhere at all.

The main reason why a coin might not be listed on an exchange is not because of the btc price. It's the coins fault. Usually if it's a pump and dump type of coins then it will never be listed in any good exchange.
It will most likely just be listed on a dex like etherdelta, idex, etc... and you can not expect volume of trades in there. Eventually the team gives up and the investors/hodlers are left with bags of shitcoins.

It is just an exchange requirements which owners need to comply everything to be listed, it is not because  of btc price. Perfectly some coins listed easily because the team have performing their jobs well and they don't have doubt to spend money for it.

IMO, the recent fall in BTC and market rates has led to ICO projects delaying the listing of Token on exchange floors. They are worried that the exchange rate of Token ICO will be reduced in line with the market trend and will hardly increase again. I don't think it is because of too much ICO that bitcoin price drops. It is just normal for the bitcoin price to go down because there are traders who and buy and sell the coins. They saw a formation of head and shoulder days ago that's why the price went down. Traders speculated the price to go down because of that formation and then others who are waiting for the price to go up are furious because it went down again. If you wanted to take advantage of the opportunity of swinging prices then better learn trading.

As for other coins being not listed, there are different ways of being listed whether it is by payment or by community votes so if the team behind the coin would spend an effort in getting listed then they can do it. They may be just busy developing the project for now and just focus on it so that when their workload is getting lesser, they would have time negotiating in exchanges.

To get a coin or token on a exchange (market), a lot of money is needed.
Some projects do not want to spend money on this.
Thats why it sometimes takes a long time until it hit an exchange.

It's possible that being in a bear market has made some ICO teams decide to wait for the market to improve before listing their tokens in exchanges, however, in the case of Savedroid I think the reason is that kind of publicity stunt that went wrong and gave bad publicity to their project. It seems to me that they have waited a few months for people to forget about that issue before listing their token to avoid a massive dump.

I think it's wise for ICO's not to list their tokens in this bearish market as their investors will lose a lot money, which is further diminish the reputation of the team. But some projects do not care, they just go ahead and list the token on exchanges and their prices end up crashing. So you have to be patient with them and know they have your interest at heart.

This is an interesting perspective, in one hand the developers want their coins to be listed in an exchange since that gives the coin some kind of notoriety and it is in a way seal of approval, but at the same time with the market as it is right now most coins will go down in value after they are listed in an exchange and they do not want that.

So they are trapped and they have nowhere to run and the developers of each coin needs to decide how are they going to deal with the situation, but if in fact they are trying to develop a good project the they need to push to being listen in an exchange even if the price of the coin goes down since there have been some projects that went down to almost zero and then the project became successful.
