There are too many coincidences for me.

That's all they could be of course, coincidences, but I have the same 'paranoia' as you do.

Further, you made me think of something else:  That these 'trusted nodes' are infact various SC pools/exchanges. Rather, these pools/exchanges have been 'paid off' via 'trusted node' status. Of course they have a vested intersest in seeing SC succeed - they'll be rich!  Off the backs of the miners, of course... but who cares about them amirite?

By how the 'CPF' has been laid out, it'd be easy to 'pay' an exchange/pool to 'upgrade' their ________.

"Hey guys, hold these coins, even blocks transfer them to me, and then I'll pay you"

As someone who just happens to be noticing a lot of things about some of these elements here, I do not think Cryptoxhange is Coinhunter past whatever talks and business they were attempting to have together.   Did you by chance see this thread

Oh wow, from that thread

"Ok. This stuff has gone far enough and you are hurting people and companies I care about.

I do promotional/marketing work for both Coinabul and Crypto X Change. In a previous life I was noagendamarket on these forums but I had my info doxed by SA forums and had the account shut down. I didnt expect my own community to do the same and  publish my personal details for all the world to see. "

I think noagendamarket is an @ in #solidcoin.

yet -another- connection

Another thing I noticed, highlighted in bold

We have been keeping an eye on all crypto currencies as they have come out. We have not had any input into them, apart from testing with our exchange.
We do not know any of the coin developers personally or well at all.

I did not know that, but to me shouldn't matter that much in the sense that he does not run CryptoXChange fully as far as I know, and I had already known him to be more than just a Bitcoin enthusiast.  No doubt he was one of the people who would have been for Solidcoin exchange there, but overall that is looking like it is stopping.    I am pretty sure the guys will answer questions if asked, as long as it isn't harassment, they seem to want to be as open as possible.

Also, the user CryptoXChange and BitcoinMedia/noagendamarket are not the same person, so when I read that "We do not know any of the coin developers personally or well at all.", I took it as other than IRC or business discussions, they are not friends with SC/RS offline.

The plot thickens

Crypto X Change has no association with either solidcoin or RS and neither do I.

Why would noagendamarket lie about being associated with RS?

Loose definition of the word association.

While you all ponder on what could possibly be going on, vote your favorite Alternate Currency to be used in the Crypto X Change here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=48166.0  TeneBrix,  LiteCoin,  SolidCoin, and or  NameCoin

I think a healthy amount of paranoia when it comes to BTC+Exchanges is necessary.

Edit: Infact, if you're not asking questions, you're just begging to get your bitcoins taken.

I just talked with Ken for almost an hour over Cryptoxchange.com via their support chat.

http://help.cryptoxchange.com/chat.php

I am now 100% convinced they ARE NOT Involved with Solidcoin. Cryptoxchange will support Bitcoin, Namecoin and Litecoin only. They were totally unaware of Solidcoin's scam. They have the exact identical concerns as all of us.

They HIGHLY distrust the Trusted Nodes, The Premined 13 million coins, The Bait & Switch and The Closed Source.
Cryptoexchange in the past had NoAgendaMarket and SAC do marketing for them, they fully disclosed that.

Cryptxchange has no association with Solidcoin.

The fact they support Bitcoin should be a huge sign they are not associated with Solidcoin  Grin Grin Grin

Awesome, great job investigating!

This isn't related to connections with Solidcoin but the digging I've done over the last few days has convinced me that there's no chance that Ken is going to suddenly up and disappear.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Wow, nice to hear that they don't want anything to do with SolidCoin.
