ENC Updates for the next month:
1. A new version of the wallet will be released which will include:
- Change block halving time to account for 2 minute block time from scrypt-n update. This will ensure that the total number of coins to be given out over the life of the coin will be accurate.
- Add automatic seeding from a dedicated server. This will mean no modification of .conf file for both Mac users and Windows users not using the installer
- Look into adding proof of stake and inflation into coin
2. Paper Wallets
One of the nicer things I have seen out there is the vertcoin paper wallet generator:
https://paperwallet.vertcoin.org/This would be a nice addition for Entropycoin. If anyone out there is interesting in helping with this endeavor please contact me to work out the details.
3. Continue promotions and marketing to get added to multipools and bigger exchanges.
- One example is Cryptsy which requires 1BTC volume before considering adding a coin. Since we now mee that, they will be contacted.
- Other exchanges of interest are SwissCex, EuropeEx and any others you think would be important
- Will begin a google ad campaign to further promote the coin

As mentioned earlier, the Entropycoin code base has been updated and compiled with the DigiShield method of fixing Kimoto Gravity Well (KGW). The update works as expected. However, this patch requires a hard fork. Although the fork will be transparent to users with the new wallet, we need to give adequate time for the majority of the ENC community to get the new wallet installed. This includes the exchanges, block explorer, pools, and miners. This leaves us with a window of about a day and a half before being (hopefully) added to MintPal. After much consideration, the decision has been made to leave the current wallet in place until after we've been added to MintPal. It is simply too small of a window.
Having said that, the patch is ready to be applied at a moments notice should an issue arise. To help prevent any issues, please join an ENC pool instead of using one of the multipools. The more our hashrate grows, the less multipools influence the difficulty level. It is important to note that the currency is stable right now and this relates to mining difficulty and not overall stability.
Once we have been added to MintPal, this will be the first priority for the coin. An official update will be announced and we will give proper notice to the community, exchanges, and other external sites.
