Firstly, thank you for your time and your query. We believe your question is fully answered in detail in our white paper, but briefly it means that each Auric issued has an intrinsic value of 0.001oz of gold. In other words, it has a tradeable value at that level. That would vary only as the gold price itself varied. The way that is structured is explained in the white paper under the sections 'Gold Backing - Functionality and Usage' and 'Auric Gold Store And The Auric Market'

It ensures that Auric launches with value behind it, it ensures it is protected against potential falls in the short and medium term, and additionally it gives another method of trading out of crypto should the holder so wish (please see 'Utilising The Auric ICO For Asset Class Switching' in the white paper for more on that)

As Aurics are only going to be issued during the ICO with an equal amount of gold backing each one, there can be no 'free' coins and no bounties - it would be impossible under our structure. But thank you for your interest.

Another gold backed coin. It's very difficult for anyone to validate whether all the gold that is promised is really where you say it is.

At Auric we understand that concern - it's why we will have full independent auditing showing complete money flows from the ICO onward, in terms of incoming funds, purchases and total amounts of gold, issuance of Auric coins and double entry ledgers confirming balances. There is more on that in the Auditing section in the white paper.

Auric is also rather different as the currency is transferable for its assigned gold value (weight) at any time via the Auric Market. This provides concrete support at the ICO price level, security for investors, strong fundamentals, and a future dividend style payment when we reach the possible stage of the Gold Store dissolution (again, addressed at length in the white paper)

We want to just give an update as yesterday was our first full day after announcing Auric and revealing the website, white paper and ICO.

Firstly, thank you all for the many emails and private messages we have received since then - mostly questions about the project, and people wanting to buy early. The most common ones were regarding the gold support, how it works, and how the Auric Market will work after launch. They are all important, especially regarding the market as that is one of our key differences - not only is Auric backed by gold, but owners can sell for gold if they wish.  In terms of selling to investors early, no we can't and won't do that regardless of the amounts involved. There is no 'pre-ico' with Auric, everyone gets an equal opportunity to purchase and that starts on Saturday September 1st so not too far away.

Thank you all also for the kind messages of support and enthusiasm, we appreciate them and it means a lot to the team. We will keep you updated on news, we're mainly making preparations for the ICO now to ensure we are ready for that key event.
