My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin

Well ill have some sweet and bitter experience about bitcoins, The sweet is to have more bitcoins in my wallet and the bitter experience was to those the time ill sell my bitcoins too early the price of it was too low.

Same to you, Basically i have no sweet experience in Bitcoins. 278 BTC was stored in 2013 almost 2 years keep hold in my own blockchain wallet.
All asset sold in 2015 when my family facing financial problem. I regret in bitcoin and i missed big thing in my life.

Its a question of if I had known, I would have withdrawn the $3000 the moment I saw it on my bittrex account. Who can tell the future?

But I am wiser now.

Probably many people on this forum had the same experience as yours, including myself: we all though it was done, that BTC would keep increasing and increasing its value, and the more it was going up, the more we were losing our mind, getting also more and more greedy. Mistakes, we paid a high price, I hope will learn for the future.

I have lost my entire capital multiple times in my initial days of trading so it is not a big deal to lose money in crypto especially when it comes to the strategy of investment and holding period of it. This industry and market is still in the basic phase of development and hence it will take time to evolve, meanwhile, volatility is not going anywhere and it will affect the amateur investors but it will be the opportunity for experienced investors.

Honestly, I haven’t faced neither very good neither very bad experience with crypto. However, there was a couple of times when I had really good reasons to worry. Despite this, I can say that my strategy was quite simple right from the beginning: I simply decided to buy some coins on exchange and hodling 'em until now. Probably, the only trouble I had is the problem of choosing. It wasn’t easy for me to decide what exchange to choose. Tried several of them, but stopped at cex, as they offer btc/eur (https://cex.io/btc-eur) pairs, which is exactly what I need.

No, you cannot predict the price of your coin in the market 100%. What if in the future you sell your coin in the high price, but later it continues to increase even much higher ? Will you regret your action ? Of course you must not regret, because you cannot predict it. So, as long you have profit, then it means you did a right action.

I think the bitter and sweet experience is bitter when the market price drops drastically as it is now and it is not certain when it will rise. if the sweetness is when the price of bitcoin rises dramatically and we get a lot of profits.

Same experience but with a different token. I had bitcoins for a while and this has happened for quite some time now however during the time I had my alt coin pool, the profits start plummeting down because I never pulled out too early and hesitated because I felt prices will spike in the future.

Bitcoin users need to me more patient. A bull run will occur ultimately, but my guess is that it may happen in 2020 or 2021 rather than in the next few months. If you can afford to hold on to your coins until then, it is good for you. Else you can exit the scene by selling your coins.

My experienced is about  my token, I had a reward coming from reliable Signature bounty campaign first it was so good price value but when the time I received but after a few month it was last December 2017 until now the price value of token is too low so I decide to force my self to sell my token even if it is a small value during that time. that's my experienced here in bitcoin

I have a lot experience about Bitcoin and most of them are good that's why I'm still here and continue in cryptocurrency world. I hope I'll be make last longer so that I will be able to exceed or learn more about crypto especially in investing. I also have some tales to tell that would make many people cry in here as I am nearly at the end of my crypto journey doe to the fact that I will have to take on a full time job soon to support my family. Last year if we had sold the coins we had in our portfolio at the time of the January Boom, we would both be retired now. I will still work part time where I can doing some crypto jobs but now my portfolio is sitting almost at 0 now due to the bear market and prolonged negative situation in the market. My Wife cries many nights thinking what could have been but we try to be optimistic and are not totally giving up on the fact one day we might get a portion of what we lost back.

We have the same experience what the difference is in my experienced when  the price have risen up into 20000 dollars I cashed out my bitcoin because that was the time when I spent my Christmas with my family. I thank the time because I had cashed out the bitcoin that I had in my wallet.

Same as you. I have lots of altcoins received from bounty campaigns last year. It is already more 2000$ but what the heck I didn't sell it until times comes that bitcoin falls. Alt is affected since alt price is dependent to btc price, it also dropped so deep. Now the 2000$ is around 200$ to 300$ . I know I am stupid. I am greed. I should have sold it.

One thing that I've learned from cryptocurrencies is that, loss from investment is inevitable. That's why just ehat they always say, just invest thr amount you can afford to lose. I have this experience too where in I can cash out 5000$ already but because I am greedy and wanting more, I end up receiving only 500$. Well, that became a lesson to me. That take while you can.

I am not an investor in Bitcoin and cannot say what my experience is, but my friends and acquaintances have invested and each has their own opinion. Someone got a good profit and happy about it, someone is waiting for the rise to be in the black. But they are all confident that they have a future.
