Most of those tokens serve no actual purpose apart from helping these tokens corresponding project launchers to cash out after completing their crowdsale successfully. Some of those tokens are highly pumped and dumped on various decentralized exchanges. As we know most of the ICOs fail to complete their roadmap successfully and their tokens also end up being dead.

I think that many of them recognize a scam but for now the ethereum will live, then the tokens will flourish on this platform in the same way

ERC-20 is still good to use when gas price is low. If Ethereum grow then ERC-20 transactiong are becoming too expensive and slow. That is the main reason why ETH is not growing.

Do you think there will be any changes? I think that nothing terrible will happen, now as you see the mood of investors towards the market has cooled. Therefore, I think that in general the situation in the market with altcoins will not change until the market begins to renew interest.

Unfortunately they all depend on Ethereum and this coin is facing pretty difficult times at the moment. As soon as the market recovers and Ethereums price will fly to the moon, all the ERC-20 tokens will follow.

What do you think is going to happen to most ERC20 tokens that have been and will be released this year? Do they achieve the intended goal of the fundraiser? can you trade your way out?
The intention of most of the ERC 20 tokens owner or fund raisers is mainly to make their money. Most of them have achieved this without caring about the future of the project. |

I saw a lot of projects. However, there are no guarantees that they will be successful. It seems to me that the price of ETH depends on these projects. But as we see the price continues to fall.

Some of the ethereum tokens I've followed are doing pretty good but many were also created with little or no real purpose. I guess their fate all depends on how fundamentally solid the project is. |

Tokens under ERC20 have brought a lot of exposures. Just as we have genuine projects on the platform, there are also many scam projects, just because the platform is a open source, so they are free to use it.
So for this and other reasons, the developers of Ethereum have decided to bring about an update, to combat some of these challenges and the security issues.

The creator of token is less interested in that matter that they have to launch their project in ethereum based platform. Cause ethereum platform have some based problem regarding scalability, txn fees and time, txn late etc. But at the same time there is a lots of platform available which is far devloved from ethereum. But still most of the world still love to use ethereum. And that is not a concern cause icos are going to extinct for last few months. So it's not about the platform it's all about the whole ico thing and I think that if they have a good project and a little but uptreand market many project will raised their softvap atleast.

I think that only a small amount of these coins will survive. Only top projects can become a top cryptocurrency. Mostly all recent ICOs were using crypto just to collect funds and make hype.

ERC20 tokens or not, each project Is different and its chances for success lies on a lot of different factors. For example
* the problem and solution
* the team and advisors
* the token economics
* the community
* the marketing efforts and strategy
* the exchanges its trading
* the progress of the project and roadmap
All these factors and a lot more come together to determine if a project will be a success or not and it all is not reliant on the blockchain used in the design.
