Someone should start thinking about creating a multipool for this coin. BlackCoin, ECCoin and ZeitCoin and probably others are doing it as well and people are taking notice. It will only work once the reward is down to it's minimum value I reckon, but if some willing pool operator is able to set this up in beta I am sure it will renew interest in this coin and bring it out of litoshi land.
It seems like a good coin to me with a neat name.
Thor has a good genetic basis, yes. It has been overlooked in the storm of issued coins over the last couple months. Let the community gain a little more numbers organically. Do we have anyone with the skills to create a multipool ? |

Absolutely not. The coin is starting to stabilize. The coin now has a very good core group of miners. It will continue to increase (nethash) and the coin will slowly gain momentum.
The thing to remember is this is an Nfactor coin. The difficulty will increase dramatically, and today is the first day Nfactor increases.
I'm mining it, and will continue to mine it. The coin is very young and has a bright future, but it's all what we as miners make of it.
Phew that's a relief. I bought 1 LTC worth the other day, which is a lot of THOR. I am holding this as a long-term investment because I believe that this has a good chance of breaking out of Litoshi territory one day. The rapid reward reduction was one of the main reasons I bought in. Have you considered hard forking the coin to pure POS once the reward halving has completed instead of minimum 500 block reward. With the high N-Factor and the small reward there will be difficulty getting miners to mine the coin unless difficulty is really low, which could put the network at risk. |

You thank us for supporting Thorcoin. We will thank you if you do the same... If you don't want to be bothered with it anymore or you simply don't have time please hand it over to someone, otherwise you and only you might kill this awesome coin (yes, I am willing to take it, but will not pay you for account ownership)... Thorcoin is on comkort but comkort is not listed in OP. It will probably be on C-Cex soon... Please, you can at least update OP, that is all we are asking...

No... Coin doesn't need a dev to survive... It's not dead but it will be hard to put it where it belongs without help of the developer. I won't give up on this coin, I like it. I just don't get it, why is dev not interested in this coin anymore and why doesn't he give account to somebody who cares... |

From all the exchanges. Of course if the only exchange with price is down, the app will not show the updated info... When it will be on more exchanges or cryptorush came back, will be more exact... |

Ok.. Thank you for the answer. BTW, app is really good. Just installed it. It's shows all the information you need (and much more, I don't like the GUI though but who cares  ). I will stick to it. For Thorcoin price was taken (at the moment) from comkort exchange which is awesome because almost no one even knows it exists (and it is one of the better exchanges out there)  . I will recommend Crypto Coin Manager to all my friends... |

I'm really impressed with Comkort. I know they're a small exchange right now, but the site is really fast, good execution on trading / deposit / withdrawals. It's a great market for THOR.

I wouldn't worry about Thorcoin being dead. There are still a lot of coins being issued per block. We are getting their. Each cut in payout and increase in N factor is a step closer.

Assuming your using Thorcoinminer Lower your settings and raise them a little at a time. Or enter in your mining string and I can tell you what is wrong. |

I've found it necessary to reboot the machine before mining NScrypt if I've already been mining Scrypt coins. This drove me nuts with HW Errors when I was mining another NScrypt coin until voila it worked after a reboot. |
