How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling?

I was just thinking how much time people spend on gambling sites on a daily basis? I bounce back and forth between work

and household activities, but in my spare time, I like to chill with a beer in hand and doing some casual gambling. I do this

while watching TV, so it is part of my entertainment time.    Do you think, time spend on gambling is linked to gambling

addiction? Let's discuss this.

Based on my experience, I only soend 1 to 2 hrs of playing time in gambling because I believe that gambling isn't the best way to earn profit. Yes, it gives us earnings but ofcourse it also take it back when we lose. Gambling is a good tool for past time and killing time only. But ofcourse, make sure that you didn't abusing it.

That's not real an answer why u just play 1 or 2 hours. I believe it's because you lose in your long run and you dont find a better strategy to not bust

Maybe he wants to limit the time for playing gambling so he can prevent to get a huge loss. I also play gambling in less than 1 hours, and I think it's enough for me to play the game and talk to the other people. Besides that, I guess with limiting the time in the gambling game; we can also reduce the bet amount so we can play longer without risking too much money.

But you can also lose so much money in just one hour. If the objective is to prevent getting a huge loss, then one should stop gambling. You might be betting with small amounts, but what happens when you're feeling lucky and you wanna bet bigger. What happens when you're depressed and you wanna gamble everything to destress? If the objective for you gambling is to pass the time then you can easily substitute it with a good movie. You're not going to spend money on that at all.

In the long run you will lose everything but not all battles are going to be a long one. Sometimes you just lose consecutively. This scenario makes me pumped and want to gamble even more.

Yes, of course, we can lose much money, and this is why before I start the game, I only want to use the small amount as the bets so I can play longer without losing much money in one round. I am always limiting my money in the gambling game because I know that I don't have good luck than other people so this is the only thing that I can. I can anticipate my feeling especially if my feeling says that I am lucky in the game, so I need to continue to make another winning but the reality, I will stop the game, and I will satisfy with what I've got.

I think I can handle my stress to not playing gambling, but I will do another thing to prevent my mind from thinking about the gambling game. Usually, I will go out with my friends to the coffee cafe, we talk about many things, or I can go to the pool and swim with my friend to refresh my mind. Maybe you can try this too so you can prevent your mind to come to the gambling places or gambling site.

I don't have enough time for online gambling and I am also not regular gambler, therefore I just give less than an hour to online gambling because I believe that more time in gambling will take more money. I just try my luck in online gambling and never think of winning big money out there. There are many good things in life I mostly spend my time in those things and activities.

Cause eventually, you did anything that said 'useful' are to seek pleasure in your life. And for people who did gambling, it also did a way to find pleasure in their lives. For me, to do something 'useful' is to find pleasure whatever I did.

I have at times spent the whole day doing sports bets because I was given the opportunity to put on alot of 'free bets' and also I liked watching most of the games so didnt mind taking so long.   When I say whole day just off and on I guess but I took up the whole schedule.

If they do it everyday so it is sure that they do not have nothing else to do, but if they do it only on specific day like weekend or when they are in holiday so it is still acceptable as long as they have the money to play LOL.
Spending many hours a day playing gambling is not a new thing especially if they are playing in a real casino as they get more fun while gambling. Unlike gambling in an online casino where we need to force our eyes to watch the PC's screen, it makes our eyes very tired fast.

I play almost every time when I have some free tome and sit in front of the computer and usually it's going as much as the tournament and my participation in it, so 2-5 hours and in bad days less than that.

In fact after starting gambling online I have really increased my gambling activities. But the most important thing, in my opinion, is that you have bankroll management. I bet everyone would agree.

I don't think you should target time on a daily basis. You might get addicted and wouldn't be able to cope up with other activities in your life. I think a healthier routine would serve you better in the long run, and gambling may take a lot of money from you.

Even those darker color schemes won't save your eyes. Leds do blink and are much brighter than your room light. I'm using special tinted glasses to read bitcointalk and a slightly larger font but it still makes my eyes tired and red after more than 3 hours. I usually spend evenings watching youtube, gambling, and writing posts at the same time. I'm scared to think what my sight will be after 10 years of this routine.

Why you will stay into an activity that you are not going to enjoy and doesn't bring anything to your emotion? Its really hard to understand the feeling of most gamblers why they have been staying on a casino for a very long time if you are not a gambler. But as a gambler, I know what they really feel and what's the reason why most are spending too much time with it. You can judge them according on what you see but you'll never understand their feeling.

Yes, I agree that we need to make bankroll management so we can control the money at least, we can play without worry. But all in all, it is better to play not more than one hour or less and doesn't use much money. Perhaps if I can feel how to playing traditional in the casino, I think it will be different than the online gambling but the point is the same, we can lose the money no matter how long we played. The longer you stay the chances of the of losing increases and it has being shown in the study as well. So people who has being winning in the start and due to greed or some other reason continue to gamble for longer duration generally ends up losing their money.

I don’t gamble every day, I place about 3 or 4 bets a week, usually parlays on football. Total time it takes me to do this, maybe 2 hours a week. I know what I want to gamble on, doesn’t usually take me long.

Nowadays, I've become so busy that gladly it has nearly reduced my gambling to almost 1/2 a week, which for me its a massive improvement. Keeping mind and body busy really helps.

I am not regular gambler and I do not gambler every day. I just give just one to two hours in a week and only when I free. If I have no time then I do not gamble. In my view gambling should not be for making money because it is not business but for spending time with your close friends. Time is limited and we should do something better for ourselves and our families.
