I hope so, many ICOs this and last year are in a silent mode. When you look almost all of them are working on their product and they promise that they will deliver it this year before Christmas or so.
But you also have to think that many of them only lie and do nothing. 

since the rise of bitcoin, the crypto world has become a new land for people to earn more money by launching ICOs by promising performance or even products that never happened. it is unfortunate indeed, but that is what is happening now, only promises and lies are circulating.

What makes you think that buying tokens will make the cryptocurrency industry recover? The major cause for the market movements is due to changes in the bitcoin price, rather than a decrease in the relative valuation of tokens. Whether or not altcoin holders and traders like to believe it, the market still follows the moves of Bitcoin, and it's going to continue to be that way until something overthrows it as the number 1, which isn't happening any time soon.

Right now, I think that the introduction of ETFs would lead to a huge spike in cryptocurrency value, and since the people at the SEC are likely aware of this, they'll be using this time to stack their pockets with BTC before finally agreeing to allow ETFs.

Cryptocurrencies should offer their user with more facilities at a low transactional cost. When people will get more interested in using them, the investment will increase and the recovery will be quite easy then.

Many ICOs this year are garbage, pure scams. Some with so called working products that no one will use. Many of them will not survive this current bearish market condition and I feel the crypto world has be rid of these scams. Only the real ICOs with known use cases will survive and recover with the market.

well crypto market have a very bad habit of crashing hard.
Like from 1300$ to 250$ and then 20000$ to 5500$
lets wait for some positive news and regulations from the government of all over the word.
