I recently tried Blackcoin and I was amazed at how quickly the transaction confirmed, I think it was under 1 minute. Considering how long Bitcoin takes, BC seems like lightspeed! I am not exaggerating give it a shot yourself and see.

Best coin for me to invest in 2014 will be NEM.
I got the feeling NEM will overrun NXT because of all its benefits.

Till now, NEM hasn't released and already about 290 posts within less than 3 months!
They have many brand new ideas which is sadly not the case with NXT.
So I come to the conclusion that NEM as already a big and enthusiastic community which is growing steadily.

Dont misinterpret my conclusion. I see a good growth about NXT, too.

But the topic is the BEST alt coin to invest.

You should try it on a MAC and it should work just fine.

As we know, altcoin market is crazy. There are things happening here that you wouldn't even imagine. Rises, falls, dead coin, alive coin etc. etc.
NAS is interesting in my opinion as I really like this type of a client. It is very "geek" designed and it is really nice instead of another "qt". All looks same ... and only Bitcoin-qt was the greatest IMO. (and dogecoin-qt never had any problems with this one too:P)

NAS is a clone of NXT, I dunno a lot about NXT, I am not a true follower and I haven't bought any NXT coins.

But it have got some strange features, like :

Nas is the 100% Proof-of-Stake (PoS) currency. 
NasCoins are earned solely by charging transaction fees. 
Unlike other currencies with PoS mining, Nas's PoS mining does not cause monetary inflation. 
The total amount of Nas in circulation is 10 billion.

it is strange - so it is interesting. It brings some fresh air - IMO. And maybe it will or will not survive - I have no idea. I am just interested by this coin a lot.

You are reading the charts wrong.

Blackcoinpool was most profitable last 1 day, last 3 days, last 7 days. Hashcow was the most profitable last 14,21,28 days (but it curently doesn't show something is wrong with poolpicker). And the way things are goin i'm sure blackcoinpool will be the most profitable pool for all 28 days when it's active so long.

Still have zero idea how BC's market cap could possibly be higher than oldest alt coin there is. Well actually I do have an idea, but massive market manipulation isn't really a reason to buy...at least imo. ymmv. Be careful or you'll end up holding a bag for some whale.

Don't think so. Shitcoin devs rarely add an entirely new proof system to their coins. It remains to be seen if PoT really adds any value, but I don't think FLT is a shitcoin.

*HATE* the name. *HATE* the butterfly icon. These factors combined with the conflicting and confusing information about FLT's initial PoW distribution schedule kept me away from Fluttercoin for awhile. Curiousity got the best of me though when I had the free time to go through the lengthy thread.

Still HATE the name and the silly rainbow colored butterfly, but PoT is a fascinating and unique addition and the dev team seems very competent. I jumped in right before the recent spike.

It was a pump and dump based on news of multipool.  90 days ago the pump of the month was Mint and Vert.

BC was a bitclone with faster transactions, pos and novelty products - maybe better than BTC but not much different from the 200+ Bitclones.


IMHO, I would stick to generation 2.0 coins
