Poolers.org u have failed us.
Yes indeed. I waited 30 long agonizing minutes for them.... I gave up , went to hashrapid....

30 minutes never goes by so fast as during a launch. Amazing.

I found 2 blocks - 1200000 generated coins. I got 40K from pool. Fuck this shit. I missed solo due to lame mac wallet.

That's how pools work. It sucks that you "could" have had all those coins for yourself, but it's extremely unlikely you would have found those same blocks if you were solo mining.

I once connected to a pool with decent difficulty (20+), for the very first time, and found a block 3 seconds later. What are the chances of (a) finding a block in such a short time at that difficulty and (b) finding it in 3 seconds, the very first time you start mining the coin? I decided to make it an "oh, wow" moment rather than kicking myself, because it's not something I can control.

Not sure what the whining is about besides the Mac wallet.  But you should have had a backup plan, like a Windows VM.

My wallet sync took less than five minutes.  Minercrew.org was up immediately and hit 600MH.  Cashed out the first 3700 ZEIT and made it to my wallet and confirmed amazingly fast.

I will admit Minercrew saved me...I had four machines mining besides my main.  The four were CPU mining on different pools, just to be able to quickly determine which pools were working, then I switched everything to the one that worked.  Paid off.

You know where the secret is? One can't make an exchange rate less than 0.00000001
ZEIT has 250000 per block, i.e. 0,0025 BTC = $1.5 is the minimum allowed block value. It is a real limitation which was introduced intentionally.
Why 250000 and not 50 per block?

COINS4EVERYBODY is working OK...but the payout value is way off... i hope its just some glitch in the system

hey,

it's coins4everyone not coins4everybody ;-)
i corrected the value. Once again, it's just an estimation calculated on a fixed reward value but the real block reward is very random (200k-1M) so you have to take it on consideration.

happy mining at http://zeit.coins4everyone.com!
