Exchanges I currently trust enough to use / recommend are MintPal, Poloniex and Bittrex. Cryptsy should be okay for a while too.

I've been on Mintpal almost since day one (I bought Mintcoins at 4 satoshi just after it appeared). They had one major issue (but nothing compared to cryptorush or poloniex) the following days and since then... nothing, nothing relevant (occasional shortage but this is all).

I'd did not try any other exchange since then and I am completely happy with them. Plus, Jason is very reactive. And considering the amount of problem with exchanges these last week, I think they are very concerned about security.
My favorite non-fiat exchange so far.

It wasn't Bittrex's fault, someone just dumped a whole shit load on there. Every buy order down to 12 satoshi was filled and this was a coin that was 24 hour stable around 330 satoshi... that was coin I wanted to sell for Zeit...

2.8 million coins (2.8% of ALL the coins) dumped in 15 minutes

Hence the "/KIDDING"
I put it in caps to be sure it was seen.
My sarcasm really is lost on this internet, I'm going to have invent a new one that allows for the greatest whit (Sarcasm) to be better appreciated!

At least the price is back up a bit. Now the question is, do I dump what I have now, or wait a little longer and hope it goes back up even more.

Sorry no plans at present to do so, our main focus at present has been on setting up to be able to handle ddos attacks during pool launches without having the system slow down which is when we generally get attacked, that we hope we have now solved, also a new pool design & making some unique features for minors more than new coin releases, the new design is not far away, some of the new features will follow after. That being said we are still following all new coins & may add it if we feel the long term potential is there.

That's cool. Good to see some pool owners interested in pushing things forward rather than just making easy money. Does your pool have it's on BCT thread? Would like to keep up with what you're doing.

Been snapping up Zeit at 1-2 satoshi and up to 90 litoshi .. great coin, great stake .. just great. Apart from the scam exchanges dumping all the coins they stole, I mean got stolen from them .. ahem .. *cough**cough**cough* *splutter*

Ha thanks! POS is the wave of the future.  I have miners and they are becoming less profitable with the coming of ASICs.  Holding this coin will be like mining without wasting electricity how cool is that!  It's just a matter of time before people wake up to what's coming.  This coin has no where to go but up from here on out!
