Is it CPU mining friendly?

I believe so however it might be a long time to see a btc payout to buy zeit with.

Also for anyone who receives a null btc address let us know we can assign you one manually our server might not handle the load

Thanks for organizing the pool. Smiley This will be really great for those with mining hardware among us.

Is it CPU mining friendly?

As CPU friendly as any scrypt algorithm. But maybe you wanted to know something else?

Yeah, I was kinda wondering if it would be a situation where I would mine for weeks and weeks and not see a single Zeit.

Get more miners going folks, if you have Zeit staking, you really ought to give some hashing for next couple of days to get funds started.

Hey, I put my miner on the zeit pool. Everything seems to be working, however, when I go check my stats (at the wafflepool site), every statistic is written in BTC. I presume that is because we just started and that I will get my mined zeitcoin send to my zeit wallet?

Yep, its a BTC paying pool which Zeit devs will use to buy Zeit (and hopefully not scam us as much as BC pool does, at least in the start  Wink)

Anyone know if entering Zeit address into pool again and getting a different BTC one will affect the payouts? I guess more than 1 BTC waffle address can be associated with the Zeit wallet.

Hmm depends on your rate of course. I suppose one gets a decent amount but since there are no values from prior experience....
Guess i will try that pool myself. With my laughable 50Kh/s.

Thanks for your email. We used a payment processor to add Bitcoin to our site. Unfortunately, as we're so busy launching our website, I wouldn't have time for a full integration of a new coin. However, if in the future we add an altcoins, I'll consider yours as it have have a similar ethos.

I have already seen all the zeitgeist videos They are thought provoking. Good idea using a cryptocurrency to further your goals. Good luck.

Thanks,

That's funny, thanks for the correction. I already had my measly 1.4Mh on wafflepool with the url open and didn't even notice the quoted url was broken. Cheesy

I won't edit the quoted text, but I'll add a note.

Fixed now.

Enter your Zeit address at the pool site to get a BTC address to use as stats check and as username.

I think a dedicated ZEIT Multipool, like that of BlackCoin, will be a better idea than hashcows.
Isn't there anyone one who can start a Multipool. Huh

I think if you're competing with pools like HashCows or Clevermining (http://poolpicker.eu/) you're in for a surprise regarding maintenance, payout logic, picking the right coins at the right time and profitability... At HashCows they already have the infrastructure and tons of experience for running a multipool. All multipools have to do (and will probably start doing soon) is make the output switchable/tradable to coins other than BitCoin. HashCows is the first pool that has done exactly this and has improved their featureset ever since.

Exactly my thoughts as well.
