Won't it be possible to be paid for bounty in cash instead of token

it is possible if the team has their seed funds to get going. but most of them are relying from the collected funds, so they usually pay bounty participants by their tokens. at least no fiat money is involved. if the team is already established from the start and has their sponsors, paying cash or in btc is more than possible.

Why do you think a team will pay bounty hunters in cash when they are not even sure of what will become their own project in the market. They actually want people to adopt their coin so is better to pay using their coin than pay in cash.

Paying in cash is way too far from the way you can be paid doing bounty, why not first suggested you should be paid in either eth, btc, or usd rather than cash. And how will the cash get to the hunters.. Through post? I believe no it can't work that way.

It's possible for me. but in case , devs only pay with cash on some vital campaign like : signature, and translation (if they already reach hardcap). they will pay you as cheap they can (using cash) then token if they already raise much fund. because they need a cash

Well, the payment of tokens is much more profitable for the project than Fiat or good coins, of course sometimes projects are paid in Ethereum but this is rare .

This is not possible due to the fact that project during ICO is looking for raising fund and the bounty is one of the steps to promote the project.
If the project has fund they will not go in the bounty process.

Paying bounty hunters in cash would be risky to the project and it also serves as a marketing strategy to the project. Most ICO campaigns are created to create awareness in the market about the project. These are projects that are still being developed. The risk that the project will not make it is high. And rewards given to participants if manage properly will be good for the circulation of the crypto in the market.

There are several types of bounties, some pay using bitcoin or eth and some use tokens from the project, it all depends on the project developer

• There are those who have more funds for marketing and do not want the price of tokens to be disrupted by the bounty so they will hold a bounty paid for bitcoin / ETH / cash

The risk of investing in cryptocurrencies is huge, and in the end, you may not get anything, but if the project is successful, the benefits may be several times. Using tokens as wages is also an act recognized by most bounty hunters.

Great, if their projects have investors and the total amount of investment has reached the hardcap, they will never launch bounty to promote their project for fundraising purposes. Most ICO projects that launch bounty are mostly new projects and don't have much chance of success so they can't pay in USD just like you said

It could be difficult for them to release money for the payment as they still in the stage of collecting funds and this is the reason that they will only pay token instead of fiat money which they consider that their bounty hunters could also their investors if the project will progress during the ICO. This is also advantage to the team as they will not going to pay their bounty participants if the project will not collect the minimum funds.

Because we are already working for money. I am a project token for success and dear. So why should we pay more. And secondly, it is simply profitable. It is not difficult for the organizers of the company to extract their own tokens, and if they are not successful, nothing will happen.

I do not think this is realistic at all, bounty hunters are worldwide and how do you propose to pay each bounty hunter in their native currency when the bounty campaign is over? Not possible at all.

I wonder how you got such an idea but  you might want to consider the fact that if it was realistic, a lot of bounty managers would have done it a long time ago, you are working to promote a cryptocurrency project, it is only fair that you are paid in what you preach.

As it has been mentioned already, cash payments would draw many complications with taxes and exchange losses among the major ones. It would be much better, in my opinion, if bounty money were paid in BTC instead of in tokens(mostly useless) or cash.

Payments in tokens remind of times of economic collapse in my country, when many workers were paid with the goods they were producing instead of real money. But ICOs never represent themselves as being in crisis. So, why pay wages with the products of their own production then?

I also don't understand why they chose to pay us to use their tokens and not use stable coins like USDT or even use cash, maybe they thought their tokens were no more valuable than cash.

I think that is one of the ways to actively involve you in their project. If they pay you in cash then you have nothing to lose if the project does  not become successful. But for us to responsible and put in much effort for a successful project that is why we are most at times rewarded with tokens.

Yes, it's true. If we are paid with tokens, we can get them only when the ICO team collects at least softcap. Therefore, the ICO team, in principle, does not risk anything if it promises to pay the bounty hunters with their tokens.
Payment to bounty hunters in ordinary currency is not real. This is not beneficial for ICO teams and technically not feasible.

There are some bounties that pay in BTC or ETH, you can find them in service section. Most bounties pay in token because it doesn't cost any real money and if ICO fails, they don't lost much. You are basically investing your times to get their token, So indeed your investor, but instead of buying their token by money, you buy it with the amount of time you spend it on promoting their ICO.

I do not think it is a good idea to pay with cash or credit cards, because such things need to be centralised. Developers could pay with stable coins, which is a much better solution than to cause a dump by their own token.

The essence of paying the bounty hunters in tokens is for them to have many wallets and users for the token so as to attract future investors to the project. It also aids more adoption of the token.
