In my opinion Bitcoin means in :
- Security : bitcoins are easily stored on a USB hard drive rather than a full-sized safe in the house and easy to bait for bandits.
- Currency : bitcoin competition is like a payment system, so its value can be in the role as a currency.
- Goods : bitcoin is considered gold. Gold is still a favorite investment for many as the global economy is slowly declining.

Bitcoin is money, crypto-CURRENCY, it is entirely different from the FIAT currency, the official physical money used by the world but they are the same in terms of value, Bitcoin can be converted into fiat and fiat into Bitcoin, the only difference is Bitcoin is a virtual currency but it has the same value as money in terms of spending.

Yes I do think bitcoin as an digital currency which can be freely traded regardless of borders and so I agree with your point of considering bircoim as money or exchange. But bitcoin needs More global exposure in order to be freely traded as crypto is still an alien word for many people out there.

The problem is that bitcoin holds aspects of the three, trying to categorize it on either would be focusing on different aspects that bitcoin as a whole holds, it has to be looked in a "bigger picture" kind of way, instead of trying to make it fit on these caregories. Remember that the concept of Security, Currency and Commodity as the "only" assets is a pretty old concept, bitcoin is not even 10 years old now! Maybe a new definition is in order

I believe bitcoin should be treated as a global currency more than security and commodity.It should be a method of payment system and hopefully aim to be a global currency soon.Despite of some governments who were not open to legalize bitcoin,bitcoin still continue to grow as years goes by.

Bitcoin is more of a currency and a commodity. Not a security because it does not grant its investors the 100% assurance of returns. Anyway, Bitcoin was created primarily to serve the purpose of a currency, thus to facilitate payments online with fast transactions, low costs, and user control of transactions.
