Market conditions are, indeed, unfriendly; I'll definitely give you that one.
The total sum of buy orders on tradeogre is ~ 4.5 million (and that includes 1 mil at 2 satoshis). Some 850-900k of ITNS mined every 24 hours. That is quite bad indeed. Sad

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The amount of mined coins doesn't depend on difficulty or hashrate.

On the subject of websites; the official pool monitoring page on the old intensecoin one stopped working yesterday after both Windows and Firefox insisted I update them on the laptop I use to monitor pools and run wallets. I tried poking around lethean.io but didn't find a pool monitoring page there, as well as temporarily disabling uBlock Origin and HTTPS Everywhere; no joy.

Thank you for letting us know. We moving everything over to AWS, so we will not change the SSL until we finish the migration. You can just use http instead of https on the official pool instead.

That didn't work - now I get a totally blank page - but given that a site move is in progress I'll not sweat it. Just update this thread when the move is done. Thanks!

I'm observing a strange phenomenon with the wallet.
I'm syncing it for about 7 days now. I added sync.lethean.io
for the deamon and it indeed speeded up a little bit.
The thing is i was behind with only 42 days. After a week of syncing
they are 16. But that is not the strangest thing.

The current balance is actually current, even being 16 days behind i still
have correct balance in my wallet, despite the transactions were made
last night.

Another quirck I found is that if I restart the deamon every hour,
the days remaining move significantly faster.

Team, have you seen similar behavior?

...

I started up the v2.0.2.1.1 CLI wallet yesterday and it got all caught up from being ~2 weeks behind within an hour or so and without any special sync nodes specified.

is there any need to swap old Intensecoin, or can they be used just as before, only with new wallet?

Follow from Intense to Lethean.
Besides browser extension, we need full VPN too.

Hello Team, I've set up a Ubuntu distroso i can run a VPN node.
Is it possible to provide a guide how to install and run it?
I tried reading the current guide in Github, but it is too complicated
for a non-hardcore Linux user as myself.

Thanks in advance!

Huge thanks to MadderHat on Discord for guiding me throught the whole proces!
It took me about 3 hours to install and set up everything due to my inexperience with Linux.
However, the final result was success and my node is now online for testing.
current map of online nodes can be seen here:
http://nodes.lethean.io:8181/

Also another thing that was not mentioned anywhere is, you have to pay 10LTHN per month
to enable node running.

I don't know how often it's being updated (my node is not visible there).

If possible, please test it and provide feedback. Node name is Pingui
