4. hashrate will go up when $$ goes up (e.g. when many LTHN nodes are live)
5. Monero V8 became live on the 11th of October. Lethean was attacked 10 days later. Then Lethean was updated to V8.
If this trend continues (someone wealthy to attempt attacks on smaller networks), and it will, updating on time will be cruical.

The attack had nothing to do with pow version. It could have been done before, one month ago, whenever. Hashrate for cnv1 and cnv2 available on nicehash, rental services and farms in general, is always enough to carry such an attack. The story will change only when our network hashrate becomes comparable to that of monero.

The price for the vpn is set by the owner of the output node. This can be me or you or someone else. developers can not guarantee the price. but there will be good competition in price when there will be a lot of exit nodes in the market.

I never had using this miner. Maybe you need to change adress in config (url), in link "variant" set value for cryptohight_v8, and in bat you do not need your pay adress and passwd, but maybe you need to show which config to use
