People say altcoins won't survive

Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!

Altcoin will survive still have strong altcoin they are next to bitcoin like xlm , monero, ethereum, neo all this coins are ready to compete with bitcoin and will survive it

Obviously! Most of the altcoins are shams and they have no real life product, except for few, which also is a tough competition as most of them keep repeating the same set of ideas but trying to promise something better. If we end up seeing a major crash in the market, it would affect a whole bunch of them.

Like you said, it is highly important to do due diligence and find out what would make a coin or token to keep having some good support in the long run based on its usage perception in the community. As the market keeps getting matured, a lot of things will change and you do not want to end up being a bagholder of dead shitcoins.

The only issue here is that people just want to get rich with no investment knowledge, hence they pick any coin or token as long as the quantity looks good, thereby forgetting the quality.

Every industry is the survival of the fittest. If you have good technology, then I believe that it can survive. If you don't have good technology, it is normal to be eliminated. I think this is entirely true, most if not all altcoins are worthless and really cannot do anything or solve a certain problem. Only a few coins have a real solution for a real problem and in addition most of the other coins have little to no use cases. Also, poor planning and execution plus poor management of the project will make the project fail even with all the hype out there for it.

This is certainly true, but the disappearance or death of the altcoin currency is certainly not instantaneous, or it takes half a year to appear. It seems to me then and the meaning of crypto currency will not be if almost all alts die. This is like advanced technology, innovation in this area, so they will not allow this.

You shouldn't be panic just because of these predictions . Nobody know what will really happen to crypto market in the future so you'll get the answer after long time waiting. Don't try to sell your altcoin at the moment to cut the loss cause it's also mean that you fall into the trap of the whales.

they may and some of them definitely will but that is not the reason to panic if you have a solid altcoin that has the team capable of delivering the product as intended.

Don't take anything seriously, i guess they are trying to spread a lot of FUD to the altcoins. It will still alive because that's included on the development of technology and it will always survive. Just because those FUDers are creating so many FUD articles or even thread in this place and it will not work.

We have different overview of altcoin, but please remember because of altcoin the cryptocurrencies survive. We dont know what kind of people those destroying the image of alts in crypto mybe they have some bad experience that they want to make others hate it too. I won't agree with this statement. We can't generalize the survival of alts for only a number of those who fail. Many have survived and become one of the most profitable investment in cryptocurrency so far. I still trust the capability of  cryptocurrency.
