There are so many hodlers, long-term investors and other people who made nothing but only to wait the market grows. How stupid this people are!!!
They do not know the people that trade in bitcoin daily just only maximized the risk and the small amount of profit they have...Just to make the market green... And so this long-term hodler, seeing the market green, sold a sum of bitcoin saying " we need to maximize our loss" LOL you are not helping the market grow, you are so selfish. We need to help the market grow not just on the prospect of profit but rather expansion and growth of the market. We talk not about today, we talk about the future and what lies ahead.
This may give much debate to everyone but let us be set - we need bitcoin for the future and we need it grow starting TODAY...
I see everything is still normal. In general, from the beginning of 2018 to now, there is no breakthrough. We should be patiently waiting for more. HOLD!  |

There are many features and characteristics of bitcoin that makes it so successful and popular and one of them that is the most important one is the volatile nature of bitcoin and this is the most important reason for making bitcoin so successful. Volatility means that its valuation is subject to flactuation and thus its valuation keeps on flactuation with time and due to this volatility the market is very slow now a days but there is nothing to worry about because according to many financial experts, valuation will inflate in the coming months of this year only. |

Very slow indeed. I think there is no progress in bitcoin as of now. Its really creating the fuss around the community and cant blame the widespread of FUD's due to this current situations. Just really hoping this is just a lean season for bitcoin, and hope before the end of the year we can slowly see the the big difference in the market not just for bitcoin but for the other alts. Those red in the market just giving an eye sore and people just want to see a greener view.

Yeah including me, I'm stupid I was one of those long term investors / holders and believers that its the best strategy on this market. You shouldn't let yourself be affected with anything regards to the market. What can you say about those stock holders that are doing the same thing? You are not different with the people you are calling stupid. Holders are making the supply in the ecosystem lower and that makes the demand higher if you are familiar with law of supply and demand. I don't want a debate but take a look at the market today. Bitcoin - $6400>$6700 |

the slowness of bitcoin is currently possible because it gives small investors time to be able to buy bitcoin, this has happened in the previous year so that they can open investors to wait and wait for prices to recover.

in any market there are long term investors (aka holders) and short term traders that you are calling stupid! their existence is a part and parcel of any market and it is not creating more or less volatility if one group is bigger than another.
the main issue with bitcoin market is that the market is basically a bunch of exchanges which are not fully trusted by any of the traders. this means the market will remain small. bitcoin itself is small too so we end up with a thin order book and higher volatility.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

So you are blaming the hoarders for the slow markets? Just imagine if all of them dumped their coins onto the market now and think of the implications of that. You need a specific amount of people to hoard their coins, because their coins will flood the supply side and if you have more supply than demand, then the price will go down. This is the first time that I see people flaming the hoarders.  |

I think we all are aware with one of the most important characteristic and feature of bitcoin that is its volatile nature. The term volatility means that the valuation of any investment is subject to market flactuation and thus the valuation of bitcoin keeps on flactuation with the market demand and supply and we also know that in the last December month, the valuation of bitcoin was too high Nd in the last past 7-8 months the valuation is very low but according to many financial experts the valuation of bitcoin is going to inflate in the coming months of this year and. |

and how do you propose we "grow" the market today?
all I see is that you are calling people stupid because they chose a certain method of investing in bitcoin instead of being a day trader, buying and selling bitcoin every day with every small change.
and all the while you are expecting the price to always rise, and do it big and quick. well my friend that is not going to happen. we will have big rises from time to time but they are not the majority of the times. they are rare cases. the rest of the time price is slowly rising or stable for accumulation.

For the market to grow it needs a fresh injection of cash to pump the markets. As many of us have already bought and lost a huge amount it is difficult to get further funding to acquire more bitcoin or other crypto currencies.

It is not entirely clear that the people who keep their btc for long are stupid. There are different categories of market participants, there are those who earn here and now, but there are those who simply have no time to follow the charts, for example I'm in the second category of people, but at the same time I believe in the prospect of BTC development, that's why I bought it I do not plan to sell it for the next 5-7 years. Does this adversely affect the development of technology?

Bitcoin and crypto market is really like an ocean. When it's look like quite slow and calm, the next day could be pump by 20% or more. So i never trust people leave bitcoin i'm sure one day the whales will come back with more bags of fiat to buy cryptos |
