Just another scam, move along.

A good rule - never buy a coin with ANY pre-mine.  These poor people on the reservation do not have internet or computers - yet they are going to become the Native American silicon valley?

good luck.

And you have based this on what exactly?  because you are plain wrong!

In one post you mention 97% of these people live well below the poverty line then in another post you mention they should go out and buy some Bitcoin.

This is what I find hilarious about the attacks on AUR and MAZA. Bitcoin is also a pseudo-premined coin in that an elite few own most of the wealth, the creator is anonymous, and there are no major merchant acceptance yet, I can order a few things off overstock or tiger direct but there is not one store anywhere around me I can walk into and buy things, yet they hurl these same attacks on the 2nd generation of coins. Is AUR and MAZA in it for the long-term? I don't know, but it is annoying that the old guard of crypto is now starting to sound like the fiat loving naysayers who call Bitcoin a tulip and a ponzi scheme.

Just remember, everyone called Doge a scam too and said the owner pre mined a sh-t ton of coins and would run off with the cash, in the end he actually turned down 500k and the coin is still going strong 3 months later.

Mintpal has been an excellent exchange, and is taking market share from Cryptsy and others. They're stable and responsive.

As for Maza and its appeal to the alt community... just watch what happens.

Edit: And yes, BTC is pouring in as empowering mentioned.

Just another scam, move along.

A good rule - never buy a coin with ANY pre-mine.  These poor people on the reservation do not have internet or computers - yet they are going to become the Native American silicon valley?

good luck.

Talk about being ignorant and discriminatory.

It is still a coin of a legal sovereign nation.... none of the other coins out there have this legal standing.

In short,  other countries *MUST* recognize the coin under international law.

*MULL THAT OVER*

Its not a "country" in the sense that Germany or the USA is.  No one must do anything this tribe says.

I'm sure Putin will be lining up to bow down and accept this scam coin, right.  What a joke.

Lets tell the truth about this:

Recent reports vary but many point out that the median income on the Lakota Reservation is approximately $2,600 to $3,500 per year.

The unemployment rate on Pine Ridge is said to be approximately 83-85% and can be higher during the winter months when travel is difficult or often impossible.

About 97% of the population lives below Federal poverty levels.

There is little industry, technology, or commercial infrastructure on the Reservation to provide employment.

So I tell the truth and try to warn people and you pull out the "ohh racist bigot" card.  Facts are facts this is a giant scam, who is going to install the internet backbone and hand out PCs so this "sovereign advanced country" can even use their coins?  The devs will DUMP them all when the people are not able to claim them.

PUMP then DUMP.  Pre-mine scamcoin.  No pre-mine should ever be trusted, especially not this one.

If it warms your heart to give money to scammers and believe this ludicrous story by all means lose your money!!!

You clearly don't understand the status of a native indian tribe in terms of sovereignty.   You have likely never set foot on one of the lavish casinos of an Indian tribe.

That guy who just put 28 btc in is clearly holding for a while. Its not easy to liquidate that many coins.

Buy and hold!!!

lol at 28btc = whale.  Cheesy

this and aurora coin are both going to come to a terrible ending.

If you are savvy enough to trade these and get out before the crash to zero, more power to you.
I am not inside this with the scammers and so am staying FAR away.

if you are not in on the scam with the scammers it is much better to just keep buying BTC and LTC and holding.  These two will be WORLD currencies.

Again:

Recent reports vary but many point out that the median income on the Lakota Reservation is approximately $2,600 to $3,500 per year.

The unemployment rate on Lakota Reservation is said to be approximately 83-85% and can be higher during the winter months when travel is difficult or often impossible.

About 97% of the population lives below Federal poverty levels.

There is little industry, technology, or commercial infrastructure on the Reservation to provide employment.

There is NOTHING they can BUY with these scamcoins!  Even if they were distributed to these poor poor people (they won't be - the "devs" will make some small effort - then DUMP them all on you), there is nothing on the reservation to buy with them.

Again - "There is little industry, technology, or commercial infrastructure on the Reservation to provide employment.

Overstock.com has 1000x the variety and quality of finished goods, and they won't ever accept this scam coin.

I don't disagree with you with AUR.  With the AirDrop there are 300,000 folks going to cash in.  Nobody has the money for the other side of that trade!

However, MZC is a bit different in that the pre-mine has already been allocated, so they can cash in at any time.  Furthermore, all coins being mined can be cashed in.

The key though is to look at the legal implications... it does not matter if the population is dirt poor or in the middle of nowhere.  The legal standing trumps all arguments.

Unlike AUR where every dev is anonymous...   this is run by someone who has a stake in reputation with the tribe.

He doesn't want to be kicked out of that tribe and lose access to friends and family.

Please link to the declaration from the Tribal Council and sole and official governing body releasing publicly:

1)  That they are going to allow "maza coin" to be their sole and only official currency from henceforth

2)  How each person who does not have a computer or Internet will get access to and use their coins

3)  The system in place to prevent fraud and abuse

4)  The system in place on the reservation to allow them to spend the coins

5)  What stores will accept them

Without those questions answered without any doubt stay far away.  It amazes me how people line up to be scammed, never learning, the more "emotional" the scam the better they steal from you.

I would talk to the Lakota if someone found OIL on their reservation.  But using them to launch a cryptocurrency based economy is a FARCE.

I will leave you all to your circle jerk with the shills working for this scam.

I will never buy this coin.

I have already done fine by seeing that Bitcoin and Litecoin solved all these problems years ago.  If the tribe is going to build out an IT infrastructure on their reservation, they should then buy LTC or BTC.

This is such a joke.  Although I am starting to see most of you are shills. peace.

So don't buy it, no one is forcing you. And why you are still in this thread, let me ask you? It's the same like I would go near any real shop market and would loudly be telling everybody how bad is these ,for example, bananas, and why carrots is better, so you are all fools because you are buying bananas.

Let's make a change. Change makes you better. Change makes you smarter. Change makes you healthier.

I hope you take your own advice and stay away from all crypto's Smiley

Be advised that the de-centralised nature of cryptocurrencies makes the phenomena of Aurora and Maza inevitable - if not desirable - and their success or otherwise has nothing to do with council minutes, coin cloning, access to iPhones or otherwise.

Money these days lives in computers whether your a high street lard-ass or a mountain goat. At least a cryptocurrency is a damn site more accessible, meaningful and worthwhile for a native American indian than an American Express account is, especially when it's been purpose built for them.

Regarding the relevance of Litecoin and Bitcoin and why they didn't choose these, I should have thought that would be obvious to anybody who remotely understands what cryptocurrencies are about and how to lever their power. For a start they'd have to buy them. Secondly they'd be subject to the mood swings of cryptocurrency economies far larger than their entire nation, thirdly there's a huge symbolic significance and national empowerment that comes from having an independent currency that is uniquely associated with that tribe.

You're entitled to nit pick about official declarations and council meetings, but to those of us that have the least bit of incling as to the potential behind such initiatives, it's clear what's going on here. Also, the fact that it's in the Telegraph, Russia Today and New York Times (apparently) is justification enough for folks to throw a few BTC into it whether they identify with the cause or not.

That "scam" label is for jealous losers who didn't get in at ground level and can't contain themselves without venting a whole load of fickle nonsense on public forums. I'm sure if you'd stuck 0.5 BTC in at 5 satoshis you'd have stayed under your rock.

In the meantime I suggest you either make your points constructively or go and crawl back under it without further delay.
