What should my batch file look like for cudaminer for maza? I'm not sure what sha256 affects. I've only mined simple scrypt coins on my lowly gtx670.
Currently I have
cudaminer.exe -i 1 -l K7x32 -C 1 -H 1 -o stratum+tcp://mzc.rocketpool.co.uk:3333
And it just gives me "Boooo" result constantly at about 300khash.

I talked to the Lakota Country Times in SD and the secretary of the President of the Lakota Nation (just googled and called). Of the three people I spoke to none of them had heard of any plan for the Lakota Nation to formally adopt a crypto-currency. One of them had never even heard of crypto-currency. The paper asked for me to call again tomorrow because they were very busy going to press, and that they might have someone who could talk more with me then.
Can someone address why the Lakota would not know of their own currency?
Cross-posted.
Well, just the statement about when they go to press suggests that maybe a press push starts tomorrow. Its a newspaper. They go to press, it is what they do. How on earth does that confirm the story?

Well, just the statement about when they go to press suggests that maybe a press push starts tomorrow. On the other hand, I also wouldn't be suprised if a lot of people weren't aware of this, I don't think the dev planned on it blowing up so fast based on statements he has made. At this point too many major media sources have covered it for me to think it is a scam. Forbes covered this story http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasperhamill/2013/12/19/native-american-activist-wants-to-swap-the-dollar-for-bitcoin/ back in December. So it is not like this came out yesterday. It has been brewing for quite some time. In fact, I was contacted a month ago by the DEV to see if I could provide him with an exchange for MZC.

I think he thinks that they are going to press with info about Mazacoin. To make it clear, they were NOT going to press about Mazacoin. They knew nothing about Maza at all. I want to make it clear that I'm not trying to spread FUD. Just an FYI. I assume the developers of any coin shouldn't mind people having questions and concerns, right?

Who said anything about confirming? I was suggesting that they aren't giving answers today because tomorrow when they go to press they will have a story about maza. It was just conjecture.

I'm going to make a call now. I bet that Mazacoin overtakes Auroracoin in marketcap within 7 days of this post.
I bet .1 BTC. Anyone want to make that bet? You have to have more than 50 activity to accept the bet though.
When I say this, if Auroracoin goes down and Maza goes up and they cross at some point during the week, then I win.

What would be sufficent may I ask? That's a good question. My concern is that it is fairly simple to take the name of an under-represented people and use it to pump up a coin (and subsequently dump). I am wary of the fact that no one else seems to know about the coin; I don't understand why it should be a secret to the very people it's supposed to help. I may be wrong. I've been wrong before. But why hasn't there been a general announcement among the Lakota Nation? That's my concern.

Did I not post an article from Forbes that this coin was in the works for several months? Unlike AUR that has no official recognition by the people of Iceland, MazoCoin is technically a project reports to the council of economic development of the tribe. Go read the documents!!!! A announcement by the Lakota Nation would be nice... but it will be only likely if this initiative is proven successful. Like when the market cap is in the $100 million. I recommend you should wait for the announcement ... just to be safe. That way you don't lose any money (of course you won't make much either!)

Did I not post an article from Forbes that this coin was in the works for several months? So it is even more surprising that noone seems to have heard of it? Unlike AUR that has no official recognition by the people of Iceland, MazoCoin is technically a project reports to the council of economic development of the tribe. And yet it isn't mentioned in the December minutes of that Economic and Business Development Committee: http://www.oglalalakotanation.org/oln/-EBD._comm.htmlNor in the January minutes of the Tribal Council: http://www.oglalalakotanation.org/oln/-council_minutes.htmlGo read the documents!!!! I have. I can't find a single document from the Tribe itself even discussing MazaCoin, let alone adopting it as their currency.
