You can post the proof here as well.

This is not the first time that YoutubeTV scammed his customers. He already received negative trusts in his account[1] plus several Scam Accusation threads about him[2], but despite that, number of victims are still rising.

I don't know how you found him, but if through Google, you should have checked his reputation too before dealing. If you'll search like ex. YoutubeTV legit bitcointalk or YoutubeTV scam bitcointalk, there will be several results saying that he's a scammer and don't deal with him.

     YouTubeTV is a scammer.

Lol did 80% off sounded real to you? You never had any doubts?  Hard to believe that there are people who always fall for the cheesy selling lines.

1) Do a Google search for the profile you are trying to deal with. If Google search leads to nothing then try searching with the the contact info. he have mentioned in the thread.

2) Always never deal with gift cards with heavy discounts being offered on them like in this scenario he was offering 80% off which is too good to be true plus it is not like that he was selling one gift cards but more than one. Now run your brain- Why would a seller offer something that will be a loss for him by providing discount and that too 80% on every GC he sells. So the ultimate point is - he has no valid GC's and whole thing was a trap.

3) Always use escrow even if someone is providing gift cards at a suitable rate (which is not supicious) . There is still possibility that it can be a scam attempt.

Also go through this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3035620.msg31226379#msg31226379

Did you connect with me without registering in this forum? If so, part of the blame falls on the forum because of hiding trust for non-registered.
Buying gift cards are considered dangerous even if you are with trusted people where they can buy stolen or illegal cards.
So do not buy any cards using bitcoin. You can try this wallet to buy Amazon cards.[1]

Just download and install the wallet from https://copay.io/#download

You can send BTC into your wallet right away or check the BTC equivalent of the Gift card amount first. You can see Amazon Gift Cards on the list of services they offer > open that > click Buy a Gift Card > Enter amount (you'll see the equivalent BTC value there, most likely it changes depending on the current BTC price)

PS. I haven't tried buying Amazon Gift Cards in their app
