Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to change the world and destroy or supplement the banking system. I think he did not want to make money on the growth of bitcoin. This is my opinion, but maybe I'm wrong.

If I am not wrong, Satoshi predicted Bitcoin will go higher than 20K USD or it will vanish! No one can say exactly what will happen with your new product. But he guessed, bitcoin can go higher or it will be a disaster. Bitcoin went to 2OK USD and it will go more higher I think!

I do not think Satoshi thought that Bircoin will grow so much. Satoshi invented Bitcoin to create a free economy.

The reason why Bitcoin grew so much was when it became an Investment option.
To add spice to it Bitcoin has limited supply.

Satoshi invision that the market would  grow or fall. He said "I’m sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume." If you check the current status today there are already numerous transactions every single day.

Dude, you didn't know that bitcoin wasn't really meant to be like this right? It was meant to be for transactional purposes more than an asset. And i don't think satoshi is how to think he is. There's a bigger chance that he's not evem a real person since we should all know how he looks like by now.

How'd you know that Satoshi is very happy with what bitcoin has turn out to be? He wanted it to used for micro-payment, hence its P2P. Now its becoming more of a Store of Value (SoV)vand investment platform. I don't think that it will morph into something big but totally against his vision.

This is his invention, a alternatives but I don't think that the revolution he started will turn out to be this big that governments are afraid of the disruption it can bring. ICO? No it was just born out of of other's people idea how to take advantage of this cryptoverse to re-invent and produce money out of thin air, this is not what Satoshi wanted for bitcoin or crypto.
