Release date ? Launch date is TBA, it will be very soon and I will give a heads up a couple hours before launch, I'm just finalizing some technical issues with the windows wallet.

[WTS] 30000 STA for 0.1 BTC
PM sent. He doesn't have it, because only 1 block has been mined so far, no one has the ability to mine yet. I don't think his comment was a friendly gesture, I'm not sure.

What is the pos rate?
Well it was bound to happen sooner or later, i was hoping later, but messed up and put info from an old readme when I first started modifying existing code. There is no POS, sorry for the misinformation, I've since changed the main post.

I think at first it wasn't SHA256, or do I remember it wrong?

That's correct, at first was applying Vertcoins features and algo. but i realize that I'm a bit over my head with their features and implementations, they just aren't a good entry point for me right now. I want to be as honest and truthful as possible with this project, and right now id like to get a good grasp on the coins inner workings. The best approach for me was to start with Bitcoin itself, sorry for the inconvenience but this project is truly a learning experience for me (and anyone that wants to jump in). I'm sure in the future we can implement more features, I'm reading up on SHA3 right now (another algo i tried to apply too). Stashcoin is a fully competent currency, I just want to be sure I make fully competent decisions as well.
