I talked to the Lakota Country Times in SD and the secretary of the President of the Lakota Nation (just googled and called).  Of the three people I spoke to none of them had heard of any plan for the Lakota Nation to formally adopt a crypto-currency.  One of them had never even heard of crypto-currency.  The paper asked for me to call again tomorrow because they were very busy going to press, and that they might have someone who could talk more with me then.

Can someone address why the Lakota would not know of their own currency?

Cross-posted.

Give me the phone number please,i will call them and ask them, and i will record the call so you guys can heard .

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

You're either misinformed or lying.  I called this morning and spoke to two different women at the paper, and to Cissy Big Crow at the president's office.  None of them knew of it.  NONE!  Anyone can call and check.  And certainly no one knew of it being adopted as the coin of the Lakota.  Bullspit.

Well, I did as you asked, I went away for a while - now tell me did it go to the moon?

No?

Who could possibly have predicted this would happen?

I'm not sure what you mean by "to the moon" but a 500% price rise that is being sustained isn't bad for a 5 day old coin in my opinion.

Now would like someone to have proof of phoning the bureau office.. Anybody?! Pleaseeee?!

I had to go out just after the Verge article appeared.

I was absolutely, positively assured that Maza was now going to the moon.

Did it?

Did it even get off the ground?

Isn't 500% up off the ground for you? or is that not enough to make a profit with your 0.1 BTC tiny risks Tongue
