Notice how these sell runs start off with 100, 200 or 300 and end with people selling thousands? Someone is triggering the run with low volume, letting others sell along and then scooping up at the end with buys.
At this point, so many people expect it to simply go up again, like auroracoin did after no one expected it to. That's why it did, cause no one expected it. Now everyone's expecting it and no one is buying. Some other fool is going to pump it up apparently. |

It was going up just fine until whales and high volume went in.
People manipulating it out of greed to get more coin to double what they have
then when price doubles or goes up 3x in price they say "Herp a derp I made 10x my investment day trading derp". Be like me.

BTCWhale cashed out so I think that is also what brought the price down. Pity I didn't stay cashed out at 16,000 and wait for it to drop to where it is now.
