Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm am almost positive this is a coordinated DDOS by the pump crew, who ALL had Maza/Flappy/Tak/UTC (in vast quantities) in their wallets ready to send to Cryptsy once the markets went live.
Hard to blame Mintpal for that. Or Cryptorush.
How do you think that will affect us with coin in Mintpal? |

I would not doubt all exchanges coordinating pumps like these mintpal and cryptorush get to withdraw their coin fees to cryptsy and drive the price upthen they get to buy up all the cheap sell orders on their own exchanges  I'm seeing the opposite, someone/people are push the price down before a pump! Keep seeing very low sell orders pushing other sellers lower, and people are falling for it  Playing right into their hands! I can see a lot of people crying later  |

Damn good idea. I put in a sell order for a small amount at 14 just in case I can't get to the site and people who can are making trades. I assumed something like this would happen. I think it's just them being cheap, are they even using the paid Cloudflare service, I bet they have the free one. Lame. |

I had a big sell order at 15000 on Mintpal, I was watching the prices seconds before it went down, we'll see what happens if/when it goes back up!
