I encounter so many kind of airdrops and with my experience, I encounter more scams than legit, and coins that have no value or has a very low value. That is why I stopped joining airdrops. I know what you've said is all true. I have friends who lost their coins becuase of joining airdrop so we must take good care of our wallet. Do not give to anyone pur private keys.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Those hackers are really busy with their evil plans, I think their work is a little reduces now because of the dump which is not convenient for every participants.
One has to be careful of them. Once they invade one's account , it is very painful. All what one has been working for over time, they clear it off in their wickedness. May God deliver us from their evil hand.

I prefer a wallet that has secure backup, the back up should be encrypted to avoid hacker on having access of the account. This will allow the user to restore a wallet without having to type in your seed – the password will be enough, and the QR code of the seed doesn’t even need to be displayed on the screen of your device. This can provide defense against malicious software trying to capture the screen of your computer or smartphone. Wallet such as HODLER possess this feature and it really an effective way to keep from any act of hackers.

I totally agree with you about that sometimes we should be careful when we are trying to access our account even if we are in our homes or using public computers and aside from don't leave your account opened so that all your important files will not be accessible by someone.

I believe that you just need to keep the main sites in the browser bookmarks, and then there will be no such situations when you accidentally went to the wrong address
Yes, you have a point buddy,  its just very hard to make accounts safe because if this well trained and knowledgeable scammers that wishes us to suffer and get what we all have. That is why needs to be more extra careful and dont trust your accounts to someone else especially people in the internet.

Cybercriminals are taking advantage of the rising price and popularity of Bitcoin to try to steal the currency and distribute malware. These Bitcoin scams target social media because it's full of people who might be interested in buying and selling Bitcoin, but don't know much about it -- making them prime targets to be taken advantage of by scammers.therefore, we should be careful about it

For me,it's best to write your private key and any valuable information regarding to your wallet in a very safe place, also not to input your password in any Google form and above all just be careful while online. Hackers are always smart using their IQ. Let your crypto information be known only to yourself.

this should be basic sense for people who understand how wallets work , but sadly most of airdrop users are people who are new to crypto in general and looking to make something to start with for free
hope that every site or telegram channel that spreads airdrops make this info pinned for new users in case these users wanted to join another airdrop that isn't listed by that source

Exactly newbies rush towards airdrops in order to earn and get scammed and whine about crypto is useless or something. There are numerous post on scams almost everyday someone post's about it. It's better to get some knowledge first and then try airdrops.

Protecting our wallet is a very important thing. I suggest that you try to use the hardware wallet (cold wallet) when you are not trading, because it does not need to link to the Internet most of the time!

Hey people there's also another way of these scammer/hackers do. Read the thread of "Do not send bitcoins to extortionists."

Not only you should beware of hackers/scammers but with extortionists and tricksters too. Don't send them any amount if you receive same email indicated on that thread.

I am sure that by activating the option for secure our account, we don't have to worry from the hackers and we can feel safe from any of attacker. But still, it is not guaranteed to get full safety because the hacker will find another way to break into the account. We always need to check our account so the possibility to get hack can reduce.

We should really be aware with these hackers. They tend to take advantage on people just for easy money, clearly not thinking of the effects of it on the person.

We have to be aware of the Hackers. You should not enter your private key or password of your wallet in any wrong website or anywhere. If any hacker found out your private key or password then you can't do anything thing and they fly with your coins or fly with your investment and you can't do anything. Always check the security of the website, bookmark the original one because the hackers always spread the phishing website to attend our private keys or password.

Never give your wallet private key to anyone or any website. If it is exchange or MEW, then check if you open the real one, there are scammer try to fake the site and steal information from people .I don’t think there are good organisation to track down hacker and scammer at moment, we need to support each other’s and try to spot the thief if it possible.

All these lazy hacker,  I wonder why they can't use their smartness to achieve something better in a legit way rather than stealing
Actually they are not lazy because they are doing well in hacking or scamming other users. They are very motivated to do it because their efforts will be paid depending on the portfolios they will get after hacking. These hackers nowadays are doing their best and probably now they are taking much from other users. So they are not lazy instead they are really hard working to hack other user's portfolio.

this should be basic sense for people who understand how wallets work , but sadly most of airdrop users are people who are new to crypto in general and looking to make something to start with for free

it is just common sense for all of us here. We know that because of anonymity feature many are encourage to scam others. Just take the altcoins and bounties sections. There are many fraud and scam projects there. Just include also some hackers that will let you join a group and download a link or a malware that will lead them to hack your accounts.
