Hello everybody!

Even though China has banned ICO’s, Chinese residents continue to participate and register money where it is actually legal. So do you think the “ban” is forever or are they going to drop the bans initially?

I think, that as soon as they develop legal policies to work with ICO's and crypto they will drop the ban. Despite the way they treat it, China continues to be one of the biggest players on the ICO market.

There was a lot of possibility and it can be changed anytime. I don't wanna say a lot about that but the only important thing for you and you must see what has already happened with korea. Whether hos they will be trying to ban ico but korea has been thiking to legalized the ico on its country.

i don't think they have actually banned ICOs. i have heard a lot of weird news about China which always makes me skeptical about any news that comes from this country. 99% of it is fake or at least half truths. and if i am correct then that is the reason why Chinese are still investing in ICOs.

i do believe that eventually if the ICO situation continues like this majority of countries including China will ban them for good and put an end to their scam-fest.

They banned it to protect their people from investing from these fake ICO, but once the industry has some form of regulation or they are assured that their people will not lose money from investing from these ICO's they are going to lift it, they are a strong and major player in the cryptocurrency.

I think the main reason why they banned it - they cannot actually control it or make actual profit from it. But after they figure out how - china will probably legally enter the market.

Governments ban the things that they cant control by themselves. So chinas decision is not surprising. But in the near future chinese people Will find Ä way to overcome that regulations.

Their regulatory environment is quite ambiguous. I would assume that they will eventually abandon such a strict regulation when they come up with participating in some ICOs (or at least hold a profit from them). Smart Chinese investors always find a way to invest in crypto markets.

In China, even if the ICO project is officially banned, those who want to raise funds will find other ways. “Prohibition” is unlikely to affect investors and merchants!

I clearly don't know yet China banned people from ICOs or not?

But incase if they have  banned their citizen from participating on the ICOs they still can by usig VPN but some of the ICOs asking for KYC at last or in the beginning if they happened they can't be able to part of that project.

Let's say China wants to ban ICOs but how?
It means that they can put some barriers to launch an ICO in China but they can't block other ICOs in other countries.

I think that they can revert that ban regulations just the same as India does. Because the only thing that they need is to understand that those processes are unavoidable and sometimes positive.

I do not think that this will happen, China has a lot of interesting and promising projects. That would be very stupid.

ICOs are actually banned but Chinese investors still invest in them through middlemen. They pay a commission for the service and that's it. That's why the prohibition to participate in ICOs doesn't make much sense, whoever wants to invest in them will find the way.

seen for the time that I currently see ico is a Chinese strategy to get and give progress to the country, and this is not a step forward on a blokchain.

China is one of the most important manipulators of the crypto currency market. We have all seen this on many occasions. I would not pay attention to the news background, it's a tool of manipulators. Regardless of news, the number of bitcoins has not changed, and its value remains indisputable.

China has banned ico long ago!
Now the Chinese government bans media publicity and reporting on cryptocurrencies and ico!
There are indications that the Chinese government intends to completely ban cryptocurrencies!

I do not think that China will forbid living and working in ICO. Pure from the point of view. What will boom and boil. on the part of investors. But if of course there is an alternative. To that I have little faith. Well we'll see.

China is considered one of the most influential market in cryptocurrency and this ban really affected the health of crypto. But we know chinese they want to create their own. Maybe if they figure out what will be the best solution,  this ban will drop in future.
