This is not even worth the mining effort...you can't even cover your electricity bill when selling that low...

And unless you can take electricity to bypass the meter???Thats it, and electricity free Wink simply calling an electrician-friend and he'll make you a free electricity bypass recording device Grin

Yeah, sure! You are maybe living in Russia, but in Germany i would be raped by the law for that. And here the price is 0,25 € per kw/h, which is pretty expensive.

OffTopic:
just to set that in relation.. a guy who betrayed the state by 25 000 000 € (tax betrayal) is going to jail for 3,5 years.
A politician who participated (somehow) in children porn and abuse is still in politics and isnt even mentioned anymore.

Just to give you a brief overview about the "weight" and rating of your system of judice.

Steal an apple you will get slaughtered.
Abuse someone and all are like "meehh.. you shouldnt have done that bro... pay money and its ok"
This is not only in Germany, money is power everywhere so you can avoid the law by paying the right amount. The question is, 3,5 years is pretty low for stealing 25 000 000 € from the state. I meen im working hard every day and pay my 40% taxes every month, and guys like this one decided just not to pay. I even have to pay 20% taxes for mining bitcoin which is pretty hard...
THis is going to be offtopic now but you arent literally paying just taxes.. you are paying for social welfare, you are paying for our health system, you are paying for the church, you are paying for your old-age pension... this is what you are paying for.  If that would be just taxes we would live in a state of crippled, unhealthy, unsecured but rich and class-based society.
Think about that. Ah and btw: He also "just" decided to not pay for earnings done by speculating on stocks. Do you pay taxes for your mining-income? You should and you have to .. otherwise its nothing else.
As we are living in a social driven society the punishment should have been something like paying back plus 100% (so 50 mio) and share 25mio of them to education, kindergarten or something like this.... there are enough organizations who could do really good stuff with that amount of money. THIS would have been a good punishment. is it helping me that this guy is sitting there in Jail for 3,5 years? No.. fucking.. way.
If you want to discuss that - feel free to join #einsteinium.org - lets get back to topic :-)

This is an important request to devs. If you have the ability to convince a much bigger exchange to acctept EMC2 will be very good.

I'm currently almost happy with Allcoin, it is the biggest one, with a nice volume. BUT it is very easy to manipulate the market over there.

We need more exposure. We need to be in much more exchanges in order to not be that easy to manipulate the market.

WE NEED A FAIR PRICE!!!

Look at what I'm trying to say:

03-14 19:22:10   0.00000315   2500   0.00787500   Buy
03-14 19:22:10   0.00000315   2500   0.00787500   Sell
03-14 18:31:37   0.00000321   5146.3689   0.01651984   Buy
03-14 18:31:37   0.00000321   5146.3689   0.01651984   Sell
03-14 18:31:25   0.00000310   5.77569954   0.00001790   Buy
03-14 18:31:25   0.00000310   5.77569954   0.00001790   Sell
03-14 18:30:37   0.00000309   282   0.00087138   Buy
03-14 18:30:37   0.00000309   282   0.00087138   Sell
03-14 18:30:28   0.00000306   24.9999   0.00007650   Buy
03-14 18:30:28   0.00000306   24.9999   0.00007650   Sell
03-14 18:11:35   0.00000301   6488.09815168   0.01952918   Buy
03-14 18:11:35   0.00000301   6488.09815168   0.01952918   Sell
03-14 16:19:28   0.00000307   500   0.00153500   Buy
03-14 16:19:28   0.00000307   500   0.00153500   Sell

Are you happy with this?

pretty normal behaviour for this young coin Smiley

people realize its not a get rich quick scheme / pump n dump coin and selling off. NP at all since the people who are really interested in this project can buy in cheap. Also, you dont really want on Mintpal before this coin matures more (maybe after block halving). Try to get on Polo or Swisscex if you want on coinmarketcap. Give it some time Wink

Hi,

yepp its an IRC Channel on freenode we are using.

The current price makes no one happy but to hit a bigger exchange (as i said some pages before) we need to grow a bigger community. This is the key.
Just saying "devs pump the price" wont help anyone :-).

The beste way would be to either offer a way to help the coin\foundation\community to share your knowledge and or skills, start investing massively into the coin or get all your friends onboard and infect them with the idea of funding for science\technology through this coin.

my emc2s. :p

Just to give you a short Update:

We are currently in the process of adding the different Team-Members to the "The-Team" Site on the website for a better transparency.

We are also working on a possibility to show the current funding wallet balance in a way of a liveticker orsomething -
But we need some help here. If you are a web developer and interested in that coin it would be a pleasure for us to receive a pm from you.

A never ending story is and will be the contact to the different coin rating stes like coinmarketcap or cryptmarketcap - Thing is we have to get listed on a big exchange to have an API about the volume\value etc. But we are working on this actively and we are in contact with a lot of people regarding this topic.
More Updates ... soon :-)

Guys, Just a quick update. Were contacting all of our nominees today to let them know they've been nominated. I'm sure this will get quite a few eyes on us and also help the voting process.

Voting will be open on www.einsteinium.org Thursday March 20th @ 6PM GMT and will close on Tuesday March 25th @ 6PM GMT. The winner will officially be announced shortly after voting ends.

Dont forget to vote for your favorite and from all us us behind the scenes, thank you. You've been the most awesome, loyal and respectful community we could have hoped for.

For those who brought up swisscex, there is a thread for a request to add here:
https://swisscex.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/1000017119

For the purpose of transparency, I am part of the foundation and helping them evaluate nominations, so I would like to put this forward.
On the science funding front, there is some pre-screening for the nominations. Our preference for nominees is obviously peer-reviewed scientific research, or STEM education organizations. Commercial technology projects, while great, are not necessarily in line with the organizations mission. Additionally, above all we do not want to be funding junk science. This is to maintain integrity not only with the cryptocurrency community, but also with the scientific one.
In the next epoch our nomination and review criteria will be more clear. So if the voting list seems a little bit shorter than what has been put forth so far it is because we do need to evaluate nominees before presenting the ones to vote for to the community.

Hopefully, this is helpful to those who have commented in this thread so far. I think everybody involved is serious about the einsteinium foundation's mission and fulfilling it.

I'd like to take this opportunity and inform you all that today, 14 March, is Einstein's birthday. The man who's name and legacy is, at least partly, source of inspiration for this wonderful coin and foundation!

Happy Birthday Einstein!

@ottobene- The winner will have their choice of currency.(EMC2/Fiat) In the beginning I assume most will want fiat but once the value of the coin grows and more people hop on board I think we'll see a change and more winners will chose EMC2

@Chidex- Thank you for your support. Voting Starts On March 20th @ 6 PM GMT and will close March 25th @ 6PM GMT.
Just visit our site between those dates and cast your vote.

@Praxiscat, Its good to see you out in the forum. For those who don't know, Praxiscat will be a driving force in helping us find worthy projects to fund and guiding the foundation in the right direction.
Welcome Aboard.

It seems to me that "Ring" project not something that need to be financed. because it is slightly contradicts with EF statement
Quote
"We are thinking less, and investing less, in the ‘big ideas’ and focusing on the next minor improvement to our mobile phone or television. It’s time to think big and start spending again on science."

I will vote for "The Power Of Ocean Waves", that big and interesting project.
