A quick Update for everyone who just climbed out of the bed:

- We made a HUGE jump last Night to Rank 92 on Coinmarketcap with 100% growth. The Nethashrate has increased till then by 20%.

- Our Nomination\Voting-System is currently being tested on the Backend by our NEW WEBDEVELOPER :-)))) so we are really looking forward to release the Voting system at 6pm GMT today! You have to be registered on our website to vote successfully

-  Our Thunderclap reached his goal by 107% - Its going to be released tomorrow alongside with the running voting system !!

P2Pool Network has just reached more than 100mhash :-) ...

Good job everyone! Glad to have you onboard - Please spread the hashrate over all available pools. If you dont want to join a normal MPOS pool please consider to mine on p2pool network.
If you do have questions about it - Dont hesitate to ask. I will answer it :-)

Is it possible to make people pay a (very) small amount of EMC2 to be allowed to vote on their favourite science project? I think it would draw a lot of buyers to the foundation and could help in starting a real community of EMC2 holders.

If I have to pay 10 EMC2 to vote on a cool project, I'd probably buy at least 1000 because I like the cause and I'd already be in the process of buying anyway. If you don't have to pay to a lot of people probably won't bother buying anything at all.

we have to discuss that internally :-)... i will forward it to the team! Thanks for your suggestion!

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I fully agree that there should be no point in having an "einsteinium accepted here" logo when we can easily be used by Moolah's system. The accepted here logo is more of a press kit thing in general. If a website wants to make it look more trustworthy, or some small business wants to advertise their support of this brand new digital currency, they can. Heck they may want to make their own label to have it fit the theme of their site. And when Moolah's payment system is going strong and we are included, it's just a matter of people knowing Emc2 is one of the coins used by that system. Win, win for everyone!

I am also not affiliated with the devs despite my name. I am just a miner who saw this awesome thing and decided, hey I want to do this or that for a it because it is fun. I said I would work on a logo back on page 99/100, lol so long ago, yesterday morning before the first price bump, and I did it. I'm happy I did it. I don't want people to get the wrong impression and feel like this isn't fan made because it is purely fan made! Also, if KreativeKrypto wants to keep using the idea for his noble endeavor at Comic Con, I am still open to any suggestions. That way he has something.

Thank you timespace I do like your submissions, for those that wondered, he is correct I'm looking for this to hold as a sign in the pictures I take with people at Comicon. Moolah fills the gap between cryptocurrency and merchants quite nicely.

Nothing amazing about it.  This coin has legs because the team behind it is well organized and has a vision for what they want the currency to become.

Doesn't the pool auto set the difficulty based on hash rate?  What's the advantage of setting it manually?  I'm thinking about moving my rigs over to EMC2.

it should, but I guess people just change ports and prefixes in p2pool source, so the amount of previous shares used to regulate the difficulty is small and the diff changes too fast. (just a guess)

VOTING for Round 1 STARTED

More than 40 Nominations reached us and we had long discussions through nights (!) which projects should are eligable for the funding by Einsteinium.
We got four winners out of your nominations which are now prepared to be voted as the ONE whos getting the payout of all coins until the 25th in the funding wallet.

The winners are:

Kids are scientists too

The Science House

A hundred tiny hands

Viral molecular

be careful with your vote - you only have ONE vote while you are registered!

Voting can be done on our homepage http://einsteinium.org/the-fund/nominations/ directly under the project so you have the ability to scroll through and READ through the different projects.
We hope that all of you enjoyed sending the nomination and that we are going to triple that amount of received nominations for the next round!

More infos about "How, who, when, what, why" will be released shortly on our Website.

Dennis in the Name of Einsteinium Foundation.
