lol another megafail like gpucoin

Let's see if the dev can break the failure record of GPUcoin.

Nothing will ever match the fail that is GPUcoin.

Maxcoin was epic fail. GPU coin is kids, like this coin. No experience in developing anything other than assignments from teacher.

Why keep letting yourself get f***d over again and again by incapable and greedy devs.

There are multiple failed launches of altcoins happening every day. Don't waste your time and electricity waiting for Re-launch after Re-launch.

Fight back and join the Revolution. RevolutionCoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=469910.0 is driven by the community. No devs here.

Spread the word!

Ok guys, I'm planning to launch tomorrow@23:00 EST a new coin called procrastinateCoin ™

I'll start now from scratch writing some code on notepad and changing some icons with paint...I've a battlefield 4 session tonight but it will took no more than 5-6 hours, I swear I'll be in time!

I'm confident to have all ready for the timeline so stay tuned, don't go to bed and don't even wash your teeth!!!1!!11

Please add negative trust to madmartyk, the guy who linked to the virus pretending it was the wallet, so he cannot do it again on this forum:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=200806

EDIT: on second thought, after looking at his post he seems like a normal guy. Maybe he just got his account hacked, I'm not sure what to believe.

You need wallet and to have it synched, to solo mine. Once that's done you hit windows key + R to, type in %APPDATA%

Then hit OK.

Look for folder with name of Wallet you just ran. Go into that, make a new text file with same name as wallet.conf. Make sure it's not saved as a text file, but as a config file. Then you just put in the basics:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=?
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
allowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=?
addnode=?
addnode=?

The question marks get filled in when you see posted rcp port and nodes at launch. Then in your .bat for solo mine you put usually:

sgminer -o 127.0.0.1:? -u username -p password

The question mark is the rpcport.

This will vary depending on what program you use, but it's almost the exact same syntax regardless of miner.

You then save that, close wallet, and run it again. Once wallet synched again, run your .bat and you're solo mining.

Ok done with another coin (EXE). My cgminer is working but on wallet console i get:
{
"blocks" : 24678,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 7.08553213,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 486661936,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}
Is it normal :S ? It's first time for me

Well, I'm done with this coin. After Maxcoin, GPU coin, etc I cannot take any developer seriously when they continue to prolong dates and time frames without specifying the exact new time; especially with a pre-announcement. Get it together and give a conservative time frame that you can reach without a shadow of a doubt and stop wasting other people's time. By mining this coin you're essentially just displaying that you are okay with a lack of responsibility to communicate properly, and wouldn't mind it happening again in the future. People here have jobs and responsibilities and are trying to perfectly time their lunch break, sleep schedule, or day off to be able to support your coin and the best you can say is "stick around for some hours" - sorry, but no; I'll be sitting here waiting for OP to deliver longer than the amount of time you spent creating your coin.
