IMO, I think you shouldn't sell your ETH at the moment, the better option is that buy more ETH with lower price than before then hold all of them till ETH price will rise back to $1000 at the end of this year or maybe the early of next year. Don't become a panic seller.

I think it's good if you prefer constantly trading it. And I think it's better if you put it on low market cap altcoins for bigger gains though higher risk.

Now that ETH is 275 is it a good move to sell my ETH and buy back in? Wouldnt profit be faster when market picks up like that or not?

I think we get bearing market for now, oversold absolutely. Just buy it, but don't sell to hurry. Wait until next progress, you can exchange with alt crypto that has good progress. Don't like that to buy, you will get a big loss.

For me I would rather hold and wait for the price to go back up again no matter how long it will take. I don't do selling just to cut my loss and later on regret the decision because the price went up. Be patient and observe things first. Ethereum is known as one major player so holding is the best option. There is no point in selling when you can't make any profit out of it.

I think ETH will go back above 600$ in few month. So If you are OK with holding the ETH, It will take some time for getting profit. But i strongly believe that before starting next bull run , There will be several price variations, So if you have time for learning about analyzing chart you will be able to get more profit than holding. But for that i think we need more knowledge and experience.

Have you not heard of the golden word hodl? Why do you want to take losses, when by next or two eth can easily surpass 600 again. There is no point in selling this low. You should have kept tight stop margin of 550 or something. That's called cutting losses. At this time its going down with the ship.

I don't think it's smart, ETH doesn't have real, serious competition right now yet, i don't think that when bull market comes back, something will instantly take its place.

Right on that mate since ethereum is number two coin for how long now from then this cryptocurrency shown us domination on top 2 spot and seriously hold that position against bitcoincash.

For OP it is not good move to sell when you are at loss of more than half in capital,why not buy another volume again for the reserve profiteering strategy.

I did it once when i have huge loss on litecoin year ago,and instead of cutting loss i bought another volume and guess what?just weeks after i gain more than double of my investment so maybe tru considering what ive done

If you do that Ethereum will pop on you and you will never get back in and the whales will secure all your funds.  Your in a forced HODL situation right now or you risk losing your investment.

When you're down this much and only considering selling because of the price change instead of looking at fundamentals, I think you would not cut losses but panic sell.

Let me ask you one question: What was your N1 reason to buy Ethereum?

I suggest to wait till ETH will be $1000. It is not a good idea to sell at the bottom, and believe me, you will need to wait half a year, not more. An up-going trend will start in two months time.

I think it's too late to sell now because the losses have been too big, my advice hold at least until next year, hopefully it can recover or be better.
If you have sufficiently stable finance, it is better to long term investment and if you are interested in buying it again, look for the lowest price point

I don't know why you buy with that kind of price when ETH price is deep down for the past few months, but if you sell it right now there is no chances to regain your losses, so it is better to to hold it for a while because as all know that ETH is a good coin and like Bitcoin it has a capability to come back.
