What you want to do it's too risky. It's possible that Ethereum won’t go any lower, and you will have to buy back at a higher price. If you really believe in the project, it's better just to hold.

I hold the same opinion as most people who have already given you advice here. You should hold the ethereum and wait for the best price for it. Moreover, this is not some unknown coin, from which no one doesn't know what to expect. This is eth which has proved itself well, which is used by a large number of projects and on which a large number of different products are built.

I believe that to reduce losses, you should not sell now and preferably not invest. Because the market is not stable and many coins are understated prices. We need to wait for the market to recover then what to decide about buying or selling.

OK so I bought ETH a while back when it was 600 dollars.

Now that ETH is 275 is it a good move to sell my ETH and buy back in? Wouldnt profit be faster when market picks up like that or not?

Please help me understand
Do you offer to sell now the ethereum for $ 275, which was previously bought for 600? In my opinion, this is not a clever decision. Ethereum in any case will grow well in price, when the crypto-currency market will rise. Now you need to keep it. and to wait for his good growth. In any case, this coin will soon rise in price above $ 600.

In the context of falling trend, Ethereum also suffered from selling off as many other Altcoin. However when uptrend back it will also increase the most powerful. I advise you not to cut holes at this time

You don't know if it will go low, also most other coins also decrease when eth and btc decrease, so it would be risky. If you hold you may make lots of profit in few years.

Its better to hold your ethereum. There is no use to sell at 275$ price and book the loss. If you sell now its not guaranteed that you will buy back at less price if price rise aggressively then you will repent on your decision so the best choice at the moment is to hold your ethereum as its a high potential coin and it might be rise back aggressively in coming months.

Selling right now is a wrong move, the ETH maybe go lower but it will return. ETH is a kind of an asset that will grow, you bought it at the not so high price, somebody bought it at $1000 and continue to hold.
Selling now won't give you possibility to buy back enough - the losses are huge to my mind. You better hold!

I'm suggest that you're setting about 25% - 50% when the value lower than your initial value when you purchased.
Yes, cut losses is important in order to minimalize your loss because cryptocurrency still consider as volatile investment means the value can change drastically.

You buy ETH when the price's 600 dollars, and you want to sell it when the price drops touching 275 dollars, I think it's a great policy to destroy your money quickly. All might know the cause of the destruction of the ETH price, was caused by a large number of ICOs who had sold their coins on a large scale. IMO, the wisest choice's to buy when (the price is low) people make a sale.

You can take a chance and sell your Ethereum now. But this should be done only if you are sure that Ethereum will continue to fall in price. I also bought my Ethereum at an expensive price but now I will not sell it. I am sure that growth will begin again soon.

You have big lost floating, bro. Just for remember for you that if want to set cutloss or stoploss, better when its fall 15%.
Now it has falen so far, more than 50%, so I guess to buy back now and calculate your Break even point or just take a little bit profit.

To save your money you need to invest it correctly. It is necessary for this to choose the time when the coin is stabilized but still at a low price. And sell when the coin is at its height

Holding your ethereum is the best thing now,  selling and buying back is dumb as you'll be losing some money off your previous investment but the only thing that's much better than just holding your ETH is buying more of it now that it's selling below $300

you must decide what you must do, but if it's me, I'd rather wait for the ethereum price to get back of the amount I bought it than selling it, you can also buy more ethereum today since its price is very low.

Keep your Ethereum right now and get some additional funds then invest it to the another alts. For me, i dont think ethereum was good to invest for now. Looks like its stuck.

you should makena profit to another alts, and hope it will recover your ethereum.

Ethereum is a reliable, but long-term investment. It is better to invest in a nkn, quarkchain -   large growth potential

That's an interesting idea. I assume that the market will continue to fall. This means that you can now sell and peresekaetsya when the price will drop even lower.

but if he sell his ethereum now, he will only lose half of his investment. its hard to see your money to drop especially when it comes to investment. ethereum might drop, but the possibility of increase on its price is also possible.
