The main reason started when all country started to make rules and regulation to use cryptocurrency and stopping immediately usage of cryptocurrency in their country till regulation are not formed. So the main investors sold the coins and seeing the market moving down panic sellers also sold it in profit or loss.

Many countries are regulating the market before and yet the price is not dumping that much. We experienced a big fall this year compare to the previous dump, and I also believe its more on whales taking profit during the peak and now we are suffering at the bottom. No specific reason for the dump but we have to wait for the whales to pump the market, let's just buy more bitcoin so we can still earn in the future bull market.

Correct! That fraud news or those trying to manipulate holders just do the panic selling and that is what just happening now.

With everything that happened last year, there is no doubt that price as going to get such high. Everyone talked about Bitcoin, the main topic last year was just Bitcoin and people kept talking about it; both positively and negatively and I believe that drew the interest of several investors and they started to put their money into it. There are lot of alternative coins that is truly useless as "shitcoins". For the reason of slow development and worst case scenario is there's no real product or service at all. After finishing the pre-sale and ICO...and having a funds from different investors, the team went missing and no one knows what will happen next. This is the common way why the market is down and decreasing the liability of crypto currencies around the globe. So , the less money and investor comes, the less opportunity to crypto market expand or grow.

In my opinion the main reason for bitcoin red market is market manipulation. Big investors which are called whales manipulate the market and that is not good for small investors. The result is that the investment capital became low and the price downs more than expectations. Now the only way to overcome this bearish situation of the market, we will have to increase the investment capital.

In my view, there are many factors, which cause bad situation of the market. The big reason for this is market manipulation. Big investors hold the market and they decide what to do in the future. Now people understand this and that’s why they do not want to invest in bitcoin. Demand for bitcoin is very low which cause low price. Whales will never let us make money from bitcoin investment.

I want to believe it is the mindset of getting rich quick that a lot of newbies have set for themselves is the reason why they get so emotional easily and they tend to make the wrong decisions most times when it comes to a market. The market is just in a healthy correction, but when a market is down, this is not a time to be bearish on the market, but a time to be accumulating.

Moreover out of fear, people bail out at loss or fail to take advantage of the dips and instead all they do is to hear the market going up rapidly and then FOMOing until they eventually miss out a lot. Life is all about learning the perks and being able to deal with every situation for your benefit.

That trust won’t be hard to gain back when the hype starts and then, they will keep doing what they know how to do best which is to join FOMO. The market is red, so what ? The coins are terribly down, is that new ? It is normal for a market to experience a huge correction and we see it in every other market outside cryptocurrency every time, but this simply is always a time to invest into these currencies so that when they recover, you will be swimming in some good profit, but people certainly won't just learn.

For a senior member, I thought by now people that has spent much time on this forum should know better that market will not just start skyrocketing immediately and it will always take its time most especially when it is trying to find a direction.

Leaving the market because of fraud for anyone should not be an excuse as far as I am concerned, because for a lot of it, the ability to identify a scam or fraud or to be able to stay secured, is something learnable except that people are always just too lazy to learn.

The red market is just a normal part of any market, and it is always a good time to buy but people tend to only see the negativity to it and that is what makes them miss out.

I don’t really know why the market is at its current state, I have seen people come up with lots of reasons as to why the market is as it is now, but don’t you think it’s time they stop giving us reasons as to why things are like this and tell us what to do to make the market good again? I already knew that the market will drop from the $19k of last year to a low price that’s why I withdrew everything I had.

Whether it is manipulation by a whale or not, it is nothing to those who are looking forward to the long term. I remember few years ago when I bought around $100 and the market went down the more, people said a lot of things even worse than now, and because of a huge red market, you will get to hear people saying that the market is dead or something, and the crazy part is that they will find some news to back up their bullshit FUD.

Well, here we are today and who is still smiling?
