Well, it should be your own decision. I suggest to hold both coins in portfolio,because they are stable and can show better dynamics compared to each other.
Moreover in order to buy altcoins you need to have ethereum or btc

Both. However, the percentage investment for Bitcoin should be higher compared to ETH. Lately, ETH has lost its charm due to issue related to it. But, it is still one of the top cryptocurrency out there.

I see that BTC and ETH are two coins which had the highest capitalization on Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always keeps current price.
Why was that happening? And in this time, should I invest to Bitcoin or Ethereum?

Diversifying is the best solution, I mean don't stick to only one coin in order to leverage your income. Yes bitcoin is a very going coin and also with Ethereum, both of this coin has a big market capitalisation, and aside from there are still coins in the market which are good, so you better diversify. |

If you are actually investing my advice go for BTC and then HODL Is actually your safest zone right now because ETH is really crashing down and it might drag for longer. Compared to BTC there might be some lossess along the way

I just traded for ETH since the ratio is the best I've seen in a while. History does not exactly predict the future but I can see ETH overtaking it again in the next bull run. Still a fantastic project.

When the market recovers BTC is the first to go up and then other coins will follow, so if i am to invest then first i will invest 50% in BTC and balance i will divide in other top altcoins.

Generally it doesn't matter invest to btc or eth, if market rises both of them increase and can get good profit, and when market is bad both of them drop. But ethereum falls little more and rises more also so I choose to investment in ethereum. |
