Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency

From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.

Dont worry about this. Im sure if there would come a time that fiat is finally become obsolete, the government will find a way to use contactless or paperless money even on rural areas. It will become a big decision and a lot of things to consider. I trust the decision of the government regarding this matter.

Fiat and paper money will not disappear in the near future because public awareness of the importance of fiat and paper money is still high. Technology is developing rapidly but will be slow in eroding fiat and paper money as a means of transaction.

There is no need to worry about fiat. Traditional money will not vanish ever. Cryptocurrency cannot be used without access to the Internet and computers. In some countries, people even never saw telephones.

we are using the payment with normal currency so we will not definitely regret it in your very quick time because we convert the cryptocurrency into the Fiat currency so that we definitely need this type of payment method for long period of time till cryptocurrency payment is standard in this world.

in this situation we are using the cryptocurrency as a part of our life but without the normal currency we can do anything in our life so this the difference between them so we cannot easily eliminate in any situation without the help of Normal currencies.

I still think crypto and Fiat should work together. The people should have a choice on what form to store their value. As far as crypto eliminating Fiat is concerned, Crypto still have to work on its challenges first before thinking of taking over Fiat. To me, I don’t see the elimination of Fiat.

I love crypto but I never think of eliminating fiat simply because it will never going to happen. Even if crypto will have a wide adoption in the near future, fiat will always be there. Fiat is still way more convenient to used for daily expenses. So there's no chance that majority likes to eliminate fiat.

Agreed. Fiat currency is the source of confidence for people who are not accustomed to trading with cryptocurrency. Nobody can ever take the fiat simply because it has been there for ages.

If we assume that access to the Internet will be made in some remote place, then all these problems will not be solved, because if we are talking about the global use of cryptocurrency in society, then people need to be trained and this should be done not only in the institutions, but also in the initial  the school.  until there is a more global approach to this problem, Fiat will remain for daily use for a very long time.

I believe that fiat currencies will not be defeated by crypto currencies, because it is easier to use fiat money than digital money. I tried to imagine if a child under 5 years had to pay using digital money to buy candy, the child would be confused. But if the child uses fiat money, it is easy to submit to the seller the right money to pay for sweets.
From the parable, I concluded that crypto money would be a companion in the modern financial system, where people who have intellectuals would easily use it. But people who live in poor or underdeveloped areas are easier to use paper money.

You got a point there, just like buying fish in the market wherein we cannot use cryptocurreny to buy for it. Of course there should be a synchronization between Fiat and cryptocurrency for people to have options to use.

Elimination! Why would anyone use fiat? Any of the reasons you mentioned in this topic can`t convince me to stop wishing total fiat elimination. The biggest obstacle now is internet, not everyone have it, but soon that will change. Now in some places internet is cheap and almost free, somewhere is expensive, but in few years entire world will be online, few satellites will solve that problem!
We can change the world and this regime only with help of internet and crypto, only this two things can unite all of us.

The transform of fiat to digital will not be an one day task. It will be a complete transformation and obviously it can only be done when all these difficulties like lack of internet everywhere is resolved.  Also this transformation will be not sudden and for many months and years we may use both fiat and crypto currency together.

it's true that you say don't ever worry about losing a fiat currency because at any time the fiat currency will not be eliminated in this world because it has become a symbol of countries in the world and the government will certainly not replace crypto currencies either

Bitcoin was made not to eliminate Fiat so please stop thinking that way. Most of us are hyped up with cryptocurrency and there's nothing wrong about that but there are people who think that it's the salvation to earn money and the best investment of this generation so they tend to hate their local currencies and advertise that Bitcoin is the future currency.

Fiat money is already a part of every culture in the world and it functions for a very long time now so there's no point for it to be eliminated.

No matter how hard we try, it is simply not possible to eliminate the usage of physical fiat currency. The digital version of fiat (Paypal, Visa.etc) may become popular, but they will not be able to completely replace physical cash. Now replacing fiat with a decentralized currency is altogether another topic. It may be possible only within libertarian micronations, as the governments will never allow that.
