2014 will be the year Litecoin becomes big business.

$100 is not impossible.

$50 is certain.

Also LTC has ASICs coming and the block reward halving soon.  Holding anything other than BTC or LTC is retarded.  At this point everyone should have some LTC as a major portfolio component.

How is this not being discussed here?HuhHuh??

This forum is only about scamcoins now.  LTC is not a scam so people are not discussing it.  Durr Hurr lets go buy AuroraCoin for $100 each.  See how that turns out for you!!

I remember years ago this was a place for meaningful discussion.

Everyone wants to get rich quick.  That is not how it works.  Smart people buy BTC and LTC and hold.

I also remember when this section had good mining tutorials etc.. now it's just scam after scam .This section needs to be removed from this site IMO.

There should be some sort of dedicated Litecoin sub here at the least since Litecoin developers are heavily involved in working on the Bitcoin client as well.  You cannot say that about any other coin.  Not only are the Lee's brothers, but Bitcoin and Litecoin are brothers.  So much client work is shared now and applicable to both.

I agree but that probably won't happen ,  just join litecointalk.org

I still think Vertcoin has a future. NXT depending whether it delivers on it's promises. Peercoin???

Ultimately I never believe any comments on this forum or the trollbox (you need to research and form your own opinion).

It would be useful having LTC on Bitstamp.

How sure are you of this?

Anyway someone is buying ~80 BTC worth of them. That tells us something.

I am sure it is going on huobi exchange also.

It really does not matter what the rest of the world does if it becomes huge in China, China alone will get us to $50 USD.

Coinbase, where the founder works, Charles Lee?  If Coinbase hopped on board then we could see over $100.  Charles invented Litecoin and works for Coinbase, ask yourself, hmmm?  His brother runs BTC-China, it is already on Chinese OKCoin...

2014 will be the year of Litecoin like 2013 was the year of Bitcoin.

Coinbase hit their daily limit by 8am EST.  Shocked

Those coins will be turned into LTC on next Monday.  There was no reason for that much BTC buying today otherwise.

This is the news that two groups on the forum don't want to hear:

1)  The scam promoters (basically carnival barking)

2)  The last of the Bitcoin fundamentalists who have not come to terms that the BTC/LTC partnership has already happened.

It was back during the last bubble phase after china's central bank announced no third parties payment processors could process bitcoin and huobi rose up and btcchina shrank, but that was quite a while ago I don't know what's happened to them since then.
