I just went through KYC,and now i have to decide how much to invest.Anyone with some advice?

Is your ID enough for KYC, or proof of residence is needed too?And how long it took go finish KYC?

Hi sevenkeys

To successfuly finish KYC, proof of residence is needed too.KYC process usually lasts 24-36 hours.

What you accept as proof of residence?

Hi Miklia

You can use any type of utility bill, or for example bank statement.

Great, thanks. So I'll use electricity bill then Smiley

I understand that soft cap was reached, would be nice to know how much funds has been collected so far and what is the hard cap of Lynked.World?

Hi OrganD0n0r

You are right, soft cap has been reached as it's set at 5,000,000 USD and currently  more than 6,200,000 USD  is raised . Hard cap is set at 25,000,000 USD.

How you going spend all those funds, what will be priority?

Is KYC done by you or you outsourced to some other company?

I know this is not the case here, but how much does this service cost?

If i remember correctly, cost for  KYC is something like 10-15 USD per person. So its not an insignificant amount when you have thousands of people.

Since applications have been developing for some time, the funds should be focused at marketing.

Last information was that 6.2 millions was raised so far, but it could be more already. Hard cap is 25 millions USD.

Its a big deal to reach soft cap in this market. Who knows, If situation changes even hard cap might be possible.

Agreed, lots of projects have failed in this market and reaching soft cap is almost like reaching hard cap months ago.

The price is affordable. Considering the potentially number of users which must go thru KYC the interest of the outsourced company is clear Grin

The more KYC requests the better, even if only 50% percent people that go through KYC invest you still gain much more then what KYC per person costs.

I believe this is the case when it comes to Lynked.World, but some projects that have failed probably did not have this rate.Bad airdrop can cause you a lot of KYC requests and very few investments.

That usually happens to projects that don't even have an MVP, I won't even mention having an app. They try to attract people with airdrop and then they fail with lots of expenses, KYC being one of them.

How Lynked.World claims that it is verified and trusted network? How can we be sure that our documents and data will be secure?

Well first of, you will be responsible for the security of your documents as they will be stored on your mobile device, not on blockhchain. So making sure that you backup your documents in some cloud service a good way to go.

I hear that we will have a erc-20 wallet in the app too. What are some of the main features of your wallet?

It will be a standard erc-20 wallet and you will be able to store any erc-20 compatible cryptocurrency. There were some mentions of maybe adding atomic swap feature in future, but that is not on the road map, rather as an added bonus if team will have time and enough interested parties.

Atomic swap feature was just mentioned by some community members as a potential idea, it is nothing official.I don't even think that Lynked.World would have any special benefits from implementing it as the main focus of Lynked.World is completely different and that would diminish the utility of Lynk in some aspects. It would be beneficial only in terms of making Lynk easier to manage and exchange for other currency.

How long will the public sale last? Will distribution of airdrop and bounty tokens be after the sale ends?

Why do we don't have the option to simply store our data in a blockchain?

Best is to read about it here and learn that way.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/atomic-swaps.asp

Kyber network for example has that feature and you can swap your tokens on MEW website using their atomic swap option.

It would be great if they allowed this option Grin

The sale ends on 10th February 2019., plenty of time to invest and go through WP and make decision.Only thing is that bonus will decrease towards the end of the sale.Distribution of all tokens will be done after the end of sale, yes.

I would argue that it is always better to have direct control over your data then to pass that to someone else.
