Are altcoins better than bicoins right now?

With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?

Many altcoins made good gains in October and early November, but they lost all their profits due to the Bitcoin dump under $6000. Altcoins are good for short term holding, because we are in a bear market and they can not sustain their profits.

As we can see in the cryptocurrency market , the bitcoin is still leading on all the  coins ,it is on top rank among all altcoins , so we can say that bitcoin is still better than any other altcoins in coin market cap, so as know alcoin cannot surpass bitcoin , because it is still the best coin circulating in the cryptoworld.

But! If you buy bitcoin or altcoin for the same amount, then in the future you can earn more on altcoins.

You are wrong mate, altcoins prices totally depends from bitcoin's price, if btc won't stop falling a lot of alts will dissapear. It's too risky right now to have altcoins.

there are several Altcoin whose capabilities are not owned by Bitcoin, because it will cover the lack of Bitcoin and complement each other if you hold Bitcoin and some Altcoin. I agree with this. It is very impossible to see that the altcoins will rise when the bitcoin dumps. Because alternative coins varies on what the bitcoin can perform. Therefore we can conclude that it is still better to invest in bitcoin because still has the potential it needed.

If any body buy bitcoin to earn the profit then that person earn profit from one side of single currency and if a person buy any another altcoin with the exchange of bitcoin then profit will be double from two side one from bitcoin and second from altcoin. All alternative currencies are highly dependent on the value of Bitcoin. They can start their growth only if the price of Bitcoin will increase. In a growing market, they will rise faster, and in a bear market they will fall faster ...
