Bitcoin is a good coin for long term investment. With altcoin, the situation is completely different. It all depends on the coin. Some coins have already left the market, the team abandoned the project, for various reasons. Some coins may give a profit in the future, their profit may be greater than the profit from the sale of Bitcoin.

If I were you, I would prefer to invest more in bitcoin where we will be able to gain a good profit in time. If you will just convert in in use, you might just lose it without gaining a good profit. Take the chance to invest as long as you are able. If you're also holding a good altcoin, you could also hodl it until the bull run comes.

Living in Bitcoin is a very good step. This price decline is indeed very difficult to avoid. However, you must remain patient and be sure that prices will rise again. And now the market conditions look very positive and the price of Bitcoin continues to increase. So, you must be ready to sell your Bitcoin.
the present conditions do look good. but the price doesn't increase, bitcoin looks more stable in the market. still look up and down, but we all still optimistic to still see improvement in market bitcoin anytime soon. all of us are preparing for the Ascension, lest we be left behind. still have your bitcoin.

2018 was not good to make money all cryptos were down, but now looks like we can make money this year because bitcoin is starting to grow. If you did not convert your altcoins keep it hold and buy some more cheap.

You made a mistake by following what others suggested without any form of analysis. We have some coins we hold for long whiles others should be disposed off. All these depends on your personal investigation and research on coins you have at your disposal.

Converting to USD is a good move when markets are plummeting... It can be difficult psychologically though as it means you are out of crypto... But this is only temporary and you will buy back in at the bottom, but it can be a difficult decision to make.

some say there will be a bull run, and the first coin to be affected is bitcoin, therefore the advice that I can give is that it would be better if you convert some of your altcoins to bitcoin, so that it will likely increase, than you saved it in USD when the price of bitcoin is pumped then your assets will not increase.

When you are holding alts there was no assurance that it will pump the price unlike when you were convert it to btc the chance that the price will be good soon is too high so you better put it to much stable coin, you can also look for some coins in the market that is stable like eth.

You are right. The best to do when you have altcoins with good dollar value is to find a reputable exchange and convert to bitcoin. You can as well convert to fiat or sell to usdt to be safe from an unexpected dump

I haven’t held dollars for a long time, because I try to exchange all free money for altcoins that interest me. Even during the fall, throughout the past year, I continued to convert Fiat into cryptocurrency, because I believe that cryptocurrency is our future and if prices rise, I can compensate for all my past expenses and make good money. I know a lot of people who do the same.

I don't recommend to convert your all coins in bitcoin or usd. Cause currently market conditions is not much healthy. If you have some promising altcoins then hold it for more few months.

We can see that the crypto money market has become a narrowed structure. This contraction is not constant, but it is also important to shift our investments to safe ports. I don't trust the stable coins for this, but can be used for short-term movements.

I think ok don't depend turn a single investment you need to split your money something extra for Bitcoin and something for investment on USD it is the safest way when the problem is happened for a single investment it will manage the other that's why I am saying this.

What's going on the crypto market? The crypto market keeps bleeding. When will come the good time? My investment, bounty coin hold, everything has become a general amount, where it was big! I can't think what should I do? Because every plan of mine is failed. My hopes, my thoughts are zero now, because this year crypto is giving only panic, not success! I got nothing by hodling my coins! I really hate them who suggested me to hold, hodl!!

What do you think guys? Should I convert my coins into USD to prevent the price falling?
I think it depends on everyone situation if a person had huge expectation then Bitcoin is the only way otherwise the development of USD will be stable with very low development so long term investment in GST is more useful.

It's always good to keep some BTC. Bitcoin will give you the opportunity to buy from below. I think there will be a real bull for alternative coins. We need a little more patience.

It depends on the status of the market,  if the market is getting red it is best to convert to usd but if the market is looking good convert it to Btc so that you will also eventually gain from the upward movements

When I was told to sell everything in 2017 and get money, I laughed. But after experiencing this red year, I came to the conclusion that everything has time, and you have to convert coins into dollars in order to save your deposit.

You right, actually altcoin also has the potential to rise. and I think investing just one coin is not a good thing because it is more risky, diversifying is much safer and more profitable. so convert all coin to bitcoin is a bad idea..

It takes a lot of patience to be a trader mate. If your plan didnt work you should have another option because if you will quit right away you already accepted your loss. Keep in mind that you wont be a millionaire in 1 day so learn from your mistakes and apply it to be better.

Leaving early has its own advantage and disadvantages too. Losing big part of the balance requires to re-think the planned trades and previous strategies with proper money management. Traders can stay in markets with the loss but no one can guarantee success due to psychological issues.
