Well obviously a lot of people haven't waited and have sold which has pushed the market down. I won't be selling personally, still in big profit anyway as I invested early last year.

In last bull run time very less people interested in crypto but as bitcoin made ATH, most investor attracted to invest in crypto so now bitcoin is the hype and hope for good profit. But big whales entered and market crashed. Now from here I think Bitcoin can maximum go to 5500-5800$ level in deep. And till the end of this year or last quarter will again be the bull run for crypto. So be patience and hold good coins for good profit.

If there's something I've learned in crypto, it is the fact that it is very dynamic and unpredictable. While one will think you'll have to wait for a very time to get to the ATH, sometimes, you may not need to wait for so long. All in all, a lot of patience is needed whether in a bullish or bearish market, try not to have itchy fingers all the time..

Why is everybody so eager for the price to reach the top? What's the hurry?

I see that you are in a signature campaign that pays its participants in BTC, just like I am. Imagine that the price of bitcoin was $63,000 rather than $6,300, about 10x the current price. That means that we would all get our rewards reduced 10 times (in BTC) as compared to the current price we are being paid for our participation.

So, unless you have already accumulated a lot of BTC, waiting for the price to go up makes no sense.

The market has not been red for the whole of the year. Except you're comparing it with the boom of 2017. This is the new reality of cryptocurrency for now.
And we have had some growth in some parts of the year and depending on when you bought, one could have made profit from the market this year.

I am going to hold as long as necessary, I am not in this market to lose money, if that means that I need to wait for two or three years or even longer than that then I do not mind, it is clear that many people are not willing to wait even for a few months that is why they sold their coins but they do not understand that those that keep their coins no matter what are going to be the ones that benefit in the end.

I think not everyone will be able to wait, lack of trust that makes them easily panic and chooses to sell. And for that a belief in crypto is very necessary to be able to survive crypto.
