Yeah that makes sense - but I actually meant that people could vote on anyone for being the bad ass person of the week - any public figure who was already in the news...not just the cast of Breaking Bad

Crazy IDEA 3: what if we create a faucet where we only give HEX to convicted felons. Just like Iceland has all these harsh economic situations thrust on thEm so aurora coin can make a good rant on its website, convicted felons have obstacles too - like it is more difficult for them to get a job b/c they have to fill out that box on the job application - so we give them free HEX. "Prove you are a convicted felon and get free HEX!" It would probably be good promotion in any case...

I was just thinking about how your idea would work. ... not focusing on braking bad is likely the best, In the US when you want something given approval that might not pass... companies sometimes will get people in other counties to on board (like pharmaceuticals or tech) until its more mainstream then its easier to make that transition...

Do you really want HEX to become a scamcoin? Look what happened with Spaincoin and the other, there are just being pumped and then dumped, nobody will remember it anymore, some people made big money and that is it.

what will help is that the fucking DEV is doing something to promote his coin!!!! That can help a lot.

No I don't want it to be a scam coin but I am trying to think outside the box so that we are doing something that no one else is doing - That's what gets you publicity...and even if aurora and Spain coin do collapse they did reach some dizzying heights first - they made it that high bc they thought outside the box (at least Aurora did). People probably didn't think a 50% premined coin would do so well - but people crave change and they create a good story. It is like that line in Batman that goes something like "you have to become more than a man you have to become an idea." The concept of Heisenberg as a launching pad is great but we have to make Heisenberg more than a coin we have to make Heisenberg an idea...so no I don't think it would be a scam to create a community of people no matter what methods we use to connect them.

I thought that merely having a coin based on Heisenberg would be enough to create a community because that show was so popular but if that is not enough we should be open to thinking outside the box.

The point is that Heisenberg is more than a character in a television show. What does he represent to you? What ideas do have for the creation of a community based on Heisenberg? I feel like there are a lot of possibilities and any of them are better than just doing the same old same old...

Fuck these coin voting scams don't you see we have to bust out of the coin mainstream with an idea! We have to become the voting machine.

For one thing convicted felons can't vote when they are in jail or are on probation. But if we create a system to vote for bad ass public figures convicted felons can always vote!

That little nugget is a piece of promotion right there Placebo bc it is the type of ridiculous comment that gets people talking...and when people talk they get interested and when people get interested the coin gets popular. Alt coins right now ( perhaps pre-working ethereum) are just a big popularity contest. They are not used for commerce. So we have to figure out how to be the most popular if we want to win. We are back in high school Placebo and the jocks sitting with Auroa coin and Spain coin are beating us bc like it or not they had a better idea...

Here is a brutal version of felons finding an outlet ... no felon fighting league ..join http://felonyfights.com
I have randomly met a couple of these people... wild and outside my scope of fun but they created an outlet.

Wow yeah that is outside my scope of fun too but we should immediately give that website some free HEX and get them to accept HEX so that we can put that fact on the heisenberg hex website -- that would have GREAT promotional value - there probably isn't anything more bad ass on the internet than felons in fist fights, so yeah they should be accepting HEX!!

Before making such statements as in "the wallets wont sync   so the coin is dead...", I suggest you contact the Dev or verify with others...
The wallet sync's just fine. I just verified with mine... no problems.

Yeah I get the impression litte work is being done on the coin. It's not being taken seriously. I even requested friends on Facebook several days ago and haven't received anything. If the Dev was serious about this coin he would be on his game with Marketing. Why put in all the work to launch a coin and then do bugger all?

If you can't handle the workload, or have lost Interest... maybe hand the reigns over to someone who can make this work. Too much potential going to waste!

Too much silence for my liking.

You can read a complaint on every page about the wallet sync issues ...go back a couple of pages and see.. What you wont see is anybody taking responsibility for the problems or figuring out why people are having problems .... zero DEV support=DEAD COIN    . Im glad your wallet works  mine and many others don't  ...face the problems or hold the bag.   Ive re-downloaded the wallet ....changed the conf , all the usual stuff etc  it will not connect.  ive got hundreds of thousands sent from pools that will never arrive if it wont sync .

Im moving on to other coins till I see a responsible dev address it... Dead

If we have the source cant we just take over the coin?

I'm a software developer, but I'm new to crypto currencies....  I would totally help out and work on this, but I think I need someone with some experience that I can ask questions to.

Still working on getting the server setup for the tip bot.....

From your nodes.. I like pitythepool

If your up for it... iam supportive of forward movement.
Hex had some issues with other involved parties at launch (below quote) so if things need to change again... then ok.
Here would be a good start to see if they need help or want to hand it over or dont reply in which case we "Heisenberg the B*tch"
support@heisenberghex.com or Heisenberghex on this board

.......

We fired the original launch team trying to ask for IPO's for this coin and is now being handled by the dev team. We just want our hard work to go to making this coin launch and succeed! We re-branded it to show more of our coding nature and we hope you like it.
NO IPO NOW !!!! WE TOOK OVER AND WE JUST WANT THIS TO BE CREATED!.......

Well thanks to "thesocialbleme" and "goattrading"  for the help with the updated conf file ...that didn't fix it initially..  but after updating the conf file i deleted every other file except the conf, and wallet.dat  re-download the wallet for the third time .....and it is currently downloading the block chain finally  ...still only have one connection though ...      .Still I should not have had to do any of that ....
But If the wallet works the coin may live and prosper ...I suspect  .  I was an early adopter and mined the sh*t out of this coin so Im hopeful and will spread the word if things continue to work properly.
Again Thanks

Great and your welcome.
There are more then a few of us that would like for this to be a success, some good ideas, people who want to help, We just need to know if the Hexcoin People have a plan and are going to implement or hand it over. Short term or long term thats the only way were going to make money.
