My boyfriend made these 2 comedy videos as a gift to the Bitcoin community! I think they're hilarious, but I'm SLIGHTLY biased.  Wink Hope you enjoy!! In my mind, part 1 seems more geared towards the general populace, and Part 2 seems more geared towards the Bitcoin community. Which part do you like better?? You already know my answer -- I like them both!! Cheesy

Shit Bitcoin Fanatics Say, Part 1

Shit Bitcoin Fanatics Say, Part 2

http://youtu.be/FV_kP91hJ7g

Enjoy!!!

Fantastic
Part 1 was much better.
"The interruption" in the BTC network Really needs to be edited out, imo.

P.S.

Do we really sound that annoying to "normal" people? LMAO

Afraid we do. I blushed hard, embarrassingly spot on this.

So true. It's a mirror for some of us (for me at least).

Hope he is right, especially when he says "It is the year of the Bitcoin" (at the beginning of the second part).

Thank you!

Heh... I will share this with my coworkers tomorrow.  I'm sure they will see parallels to when I pontificate about BTC.

These are great. I just tweeted them out. These will come in handy for me.

Planning to launch Zimbabwecoin in the future. Focused on building a community around it now.

It cost him about $4,000 to create the videos
What a waste.  He should have bought his girl diamond earrings instead.

Lol! Now you're talking! Remind me to date you if I become single. Wink

Remind me not to date you at least until BTC hits $100,000 Wink

That was funny, though. As I've heard someone say, it's "so funny because it's true that it wraps around and isn't funny any more, but then wraps around a second time and is funny again, but with a tinge of sadness" Smiley

Sorry toots - I am very happily married to the most insanely pretty woman on the planet.  How do you think I managed that?  One guess: diamonds.

There's a little 1-second bite in the first video that says that Bitcoin is bringing democracy to the world. This is BAD. Democracy means majority rule.

If you are in the minority, you might not like majority rule. Bitcoin is not democratic. It is not majority rule. It is everyone for himself. It is learning how to be responsible for your own actions and freedom, or you might lose to a Bitcoin thief.

Bitcoin is the laws of nature being enacted in mathematical form to grant freedom, not democracy, to everyone in the world!

Smiley

Hmmm...so how does the Bitcoin protocol determine its rules?

The rules have been determined by the devs and Satoshi. They are strictly followed by the client, according to the laws of nature for math and electronics, etc.

People are developing all kinds of other coins and things that resemble Bitcoin. But, because they are different, they are not Bitcoin.

At this stage of the Bitcoin game, if anyone wants to actually change the Bitcoin programming so that it acts and reacts with the whole blockchain and with all the versions of the client already out there, he is going to have to be very careful, or it won't work.

If someone develops a quantum computer, for example, he might be able to add new rules to those already in use by Bitcoin, and change the whole structure of the Bitcoin operation. Quantum computers in every household just might make Bitcoin anonymity a real thing.

Smiley
